((Lol, I wasn't even thinking about that. )) Running took longer than flying, but they soon passed between the small mountains. Shoris'sythsaesh was surprized they made it through with ease, and weren't chased down when they didn't stop for those who called. "We're here," she said as the clearing came into view through the trees. Still, they didn't stop running until just before clearing the trees. And everyone stared at them, or more accurately, at Rocar.

Rocar had stopped at the clearing and seen all of the 'elves' staring at him. He was beginning to think that maybe this was a bad idea, but he got the thought out of mind as fast as possible.
'Now what,' he thought to himself and he loked back at Shoris' to see what she would do, after all she new more about them than he did and the last thing he wanted was to make everyone mad at him,if they weren't already....

"Sister Aeroly!" a voice boomed from the elders. She suddenly felt very small and frightened. "You have done exactly what you were told not to do, and worse yet, you have brought a human to this sacred place! Why?"
"I - I thought maybe - maybe I could prove that - that - that humans aren't really - so bad." Shoris'sythsaesh said.
"They nearly killed an elf!"
She glanced nervously at Rocar, and felt a flame ignite inside her. "He - Rocar would never do anything like that." she said defiantly.
"Whether that human would or not is of no concern. If one would, any could." The Elder speaking looked at Rocar. "Since you are here, you will return to the other humans and leave this island with them. Any more hostility toward elven kind will be met the same."

"Oh that is good to know. But I am worried cause if the elders fear your people bad things may happen. Maybe if they meet a good human they will not be scared cause of the stupid ones."

"maybe they should be afraid... Stupidity is like a disease. One man can affect another and then it just spreads till there's a mob of people who are just as scared and stupid as the first... so maybe they're right to be afraid and cautious."

"I guess I understand what your saying. But do you think the elders should meet someone like you?"

"I wiil do no such thing elf," he said in a strange tone, like he wasn't even himself. He stared at the elder in defiance. The fear he had earlier seemed to have disappeared and was now replaced with a feeling of defiance. He felt as if he had something to prove to these elves, but he had no idea what...

Shoris'sythsaesh was silent. She didn't want Rocar to leave, but could she really argue with the Elders?
"That," said once of the Elders to Rocar, "is the only reason you are leaving this place. Now go."

"I'm not sure... but we shouldn't do anything rash.. I don't need any humans getting mad at you, and I don't think I want any of your kind angry at me."

"Forgive me, please. I don't know what came over me," rocar said, getting his emotions under control.
"Please, listen. That will only solve your problem for now. Other humans will come, and some of them may be mre danerous than us. Elders, please. You must try and set up relations with humans now while you have the chance, lest something awful happen," he said taking a deep breath, he was a little nervous t say the least.
"I can help, if you will allow me to," he said lowering his head to try and show respect toward the elves...

The Elders spoke amongst themselves for a short time, then turned back to Rocar and Shoris'sythsaesh. "Go back to your people and give them our warning: hostility will not be tolerated. Tomorrow come back with whoever leads you. We will spend the day considering your words."
Shoris'sythsaesh let out a long breath; she hadn't realized she'd been holding it.
"Aeroly sister Shoris'sythsaesh."
She looked up.
"You may take the human back to his own kind, but you are to return here immidiatly afterward. And do not disobey us again."
"Yes, Elders."

Rocar was getting quite upset. He wanted to help and try and keep piece. He knew the captain and he wasn't exactly the diplomatic type. Before he could say anything else, Rocar zoned out and a presence that had been within him form the beginning of the voyage had decided to make itself known.
"Elders, you haven't changed a bit," Rocar said in an animalistic voice,"You are no better than the humans, always wanting things to stay the same. Afraid of the unknown."
Rocar looked up at the elves, his eyes seeming like they were those of an animal.
"I have been among the humans for a while and I suggest you take the help of my host, lest things become rather unpleasant in this land," he said with a smile.
This creature, whoever or whatever it was, definitely wasn't Rocar an seemed like it wanted chaos, so why speak at all.....
