Zero's eye's fluttered open as E floated solemnly above the small circular coushion. E gave a soft 'Hmmmm...', looking off in the distance, using the force as his eye's. It took eir to a distant place, a dark room, a lone jedi standing within. Quick as could be eir sight went red, and E withdrew back into his body.
E was knocked from eir solemn meditation, being hurled from eir position and thrown into a wall landing upon a pile of assorted odd and ends, making a loud crashing sound. Nearly knocked unconsious by the brute force of the thing that had bashed eir in the chest, it was a most distressful thing. It happened when he found a force-sensative who was straying off the path of light, but this time it was much more violent, much more painful, eir hair's stood on end and e shuddered a bit as a cold chill filled eir body.

((You meant cushion, not cousin, right? And Shadow is a Jedi... sort of...))
It always happens to you. The shock throws you back, throws you across the room...
Shadow blinked. The room, for a second, flickered away from her vision and all that was left was the pinks of the inside of her eyes, glowing through the dim light.
A flash. A hint of another presence, somewhere... elusive...
She raised one hand, pressed it to the side of her head through the tangled mass of hair that threatened to fall back into her eyes.
Pain. You can feel the pain...
Draw from it. Take it. Use it to your own advantage.
The alluring ease of the darkside flickered around her, teasing her to reach out and tie the loose threads together once again. She reached a hand out for a moment, wanting to grasp them, to take the easy road out...
No. It would be simpler to take a blaster, press it to my head, and pull the trigger.
And even that taunted her with the idea.
Shadow reached out, turned the light off, and shrugged her robe around her shoulders, drew the hood up over her face so that all that was within was a dark fire in her eyes. An unnatural glint to her being. She felt the darkside, felt the light... and both would equally destroy her. The light washs over and the shadows are no longer. But when the darkness builds so that no more light can enter, neither are there shadows. A shadow's existance is solly from something standing in the way of light, to follow after its master with no choice or say-- and the moment the light hits it: gone. And when the darkness swallows...
You can only be one or the other. You know you cannot toy with this forever...
Shadow left the room behind her, lightsaber clipped to her belt, and a cold chill grasped around her heart.

*Myra's reflections and musings were suddenly interrupted when a loud crash from the next room startled her from her train of thought. In a flash, her lightsaber was ignited in her hand and her feet were swiftly carrying her out of the room. Her voice held some concern, although she tried to hide it.* "Master Enna?" *She looked around the strange human's home, quickly spotting the master lying crumpled against one wall. Sensing no other presence in the room, Myra deactivated her lightsaber, hurrying to the master's side to help.* "Are you all right? What happened?"

Zero sat up with Myra's help, clutching eir head. "Heh..." E managed to 'say', looking up at the startled girl. "I'm...fine, this alway's happens...you get used to it after a while of being in tune with the netherworld of the force..." E said, standing up with Myra's support. He studied the girl, judging her. "You know, your elegible to train under me...the choice is yours whether you do or not, so ill leave it up to you." E said wtih a warm smile, slowly walking over to another metal door. "If you want that is, I will teach you everything I know about the force...the light...the dark...the grey...and when I pass on you will be my way of being immortal, and you will inherit the Catalyst..."

((I dare you to confront Shadow. *snrk*))
Silent steps. You leave the room, you don't know where you're going, or why. The Force never really led you, you don't trust it. You won't let yourself trust the Force when it always leads you astray.
Shadow reached up and brushed a piece of her hair back over her eyes. It swept down and over her expression, drifting over her mouth slightly. She breathed out and it silently slipped away. She paused.
Fingers slipped over a dusty rail in the older apartment building: leaving a trail in the dust that time would erase with winds too small to be noticed. She raised her hand back up, brushed the dust off of her fingertips to her dark clothing. It left a gray stain, and she wondered if it were an improvement to merely move the grime.
[Find me...]
An echo in the Force; Shadow did not know whether it came from her being or another's, but she heartily wished for that prayer. Find me. Take my hands and pull me into the light, though it brings about my destruction. Sometimes to learn, things have to hurt...
A lesson hard learned over time. She reached into your mind, she pulled you out. It hurt to be destroyed, yet you were rebuilt in the exact same process...
You let yourself despair and that destroys you as surely as the light's touch. And the lightside would harm you far less...
Shadow clenched her fists tightly, and her fingernails left little cresentmoon shaped dints on her palm.

*Myra paused and stared at this strange human, brow furrowed in confusion. She wasn't sure if the offer was offensive or an honor. After all, she had been trained well enough. The idea of someone suggesting otherwise nearly made her angry. Her pride was one of her biggest faults... Still, this human seemed to think the offer something she should be pleased about.* "With all due respect, Master Jedi, I've been trained quite extensively, otherwise I wouldn't have made it here in the first place. Besides, you don't even know me. Somehow I doubt you want your legacy to be a total stranger. My only goal at the moment is to get off of this planet and back to Coruscant as soon as possible."

Zero sighed, looking up. "Myra...I don't care if you learn my teachings. The force...I feel it swirling about you like a hurricane...your destiny is grander then that of even myself..." E says, looking her straight in the eyes, smiling. "...your destiny is greater then even some of the council members...your destiny is greater then that of the eldest masters...." He said, backing away slightly, turning around to look at a small crystal. The crystal was another rarity, anb obvious addition to his lightsaber, but it wouldnt fit for some reason. "If you were to take my teachings...and use them...you could bring about the end of the sith...or at least help. You could master my lightsaber buiolding techniques and even harness the power of this crystal...."

*Myra didn't move a muscle... For a moment she didn't even breathe... What was this human telling her...? The end of the Sith...? My destiny...?* "Master Enna... Are you telling me that you know the future...? My future...?"

The future is always in motion... anything can effect it...
Say one thing different, look at someone with a different light to your eyes... take a step too soon... and anything can happen. No one can tell the future, for the possibilities are endless...
Shadow reached up, touched the side of her head lightly. The reverberation of dark vs light hurt. A lot. She didn't know how to control that pain, that heavy contrast...
]I want to live!
No one can ever destroy the darkness, for another will take up that sword, take up the darkside powers. It's always there; take off that balance and everything will fall. Light and dark must always be together. Yin and yang, fire and water...
Pain. Shadow flinched slightly, letting it flicker through her being for a second, and feeling the pain. The darksider wanted to embrace it... she let it pass through her body. Almarien took a deep breath, exhaled a few moments, and let peace override her emotions.

"I...have preminissions of the future from time to time...That is why i meditate here..." E say's indicating the large circular chair he had been floating over earlier. E sighed and stepped over to it, taking a seat and crossing eir legs to sit indian style. "Everyone has a destiny...your's...your's and another's stookout amongst the rest. One destined to master the light...the other the darkness...I however see a different path within you...you shall master both..and in doing so end all injustice in the galaxy..." E finishes smiling at her slightly, finnaly breaking his usually emotionless stare. He had pondered something for a few minutes, then began speaking once more. "I'm sorry if you...find this insulting..." Enna continues, "...but please, accept my gift and train with me...you've received some of the best training the councel can offer...however you haven't learned from a true master...one who has mastered the many mysteries of the force...the grey..."

Master the shadows. Take your own life and turn it to what you know you can do. You know you are one of the darkness. Once started down that path you will never escape...
Shadow closed her eyes, took in another breath and exhaled slowly. Had the air been chilled, fog would've formed before her mouth to slowly melt away into a rain of shadows and then light.
I will not. I will not fall into that path. Not again.
You will never master the light.
Then nor will I take on the shadows...
A flash crossed her face for a moment. The girl did not believe in destiny, or in the powers of the future. The now is always now, she was certain. Future could not be foretold...
And no matter what destiny you place upon me, I will fight it to my uttermost last breath! Resolved, the girl always had been. There must always be a balance. Stand in the middle of that point, and it will remain. Stray but a little...
Shadow tightened her fists, allowing her feet to carry her where they would, straying away from the paths set out by her mind, and wandering aimlessly along the streets of a planet that her mind refused to name. Perhaps she didn't know the name, perhaps she had merely forgotten.
The slight touch of warmth hit her hand, and she flinched, drawing her hands open slightly. "My nails are sharp," she murmured aloud, wiping crimson blood onto her pants. Little cresent moon shapes marred her hands where her fingernails had cut through the flesh.
I have to learn to control the contrast rather than falling into one...
