Iviera squirmed her way through the crowd of Minas Tirith. It was Mid-day and most of the people were out selling and buying from the market. And poor Ivi got caught in the middle. Her small body and stature did not help matters any, only agitated them.
"Excuse me....sorry, Pardon me." she repeated, as she pushed through the people.
"Watch were your going, missy!" shouted an older man, whom she had accidentally bumped elbows with. She timidly nodded and apology and continued on, trying to keep her arms to herself. Her pace was slow, and the heels of her boots were constantly getting caught in between the cobblestones. Thanks to the down pour which swallowed Minas Tirith earlier that morning, the streets were slippery making it even more difficult.
A bell began ringing, signaling the beginning of an auction. People quickly began drawing to the sound, clearing the way a bit more. Soon everyone was crowded to see what was being offered from the rich that the pathway was almost clear.
Ivi let out a sigh of relief and picked up her skirts , picking a path on the slippery cobble stones searching for a cheap inn with a warm fire. Ivi closed her eyes briefly and said a sarcastic prayer to the Valar for allowing her to have grown up on a peaceful farm...not Minas Tirith.

*Erebeth grabbed the mop and bucket from the closet for what seemed like the hundredth time that day, rubbing her neck a little before she started cleaning more water off of the wooden floors that had been tracked in by another sopping wet guest. She hummed softly to herself, hardly noticing the chatter by the fireplace as two old men tried to warm up from the cold rain they had been caught in earlier in the day. A little girl ran through the room and Beth quickly caught her by the waist, dropping the mop.* "Hey hey hey! Watch it, Giliel! Wet floors. Wouldn't want you slipping and hurting yourself now would we?" *The girl simply giggled and shook her head, walking slowly and carefully once Beth put her down on the slick floor. Beth just shook her head with a soft chuckle before picking up her mop and going back to cleaning. She desperately hoped that the streets would dry up quickly, her shoulders and neck getting sore from bending over her mop over and over again.*

Ivi, shaded her eyes as she looked up to the bright sky. It was bright...but still no sun. She scowled as her eyes became acustom to clear light again. She rubbed her cold nose with her wrist, with a snift as she looked at the line of buildings with signs hanging from their doors.
"The Fiddle Tavern...sounds friendly." she peaked through the windows and found an overly crowded, an ovelry hyper crowd. She frowned and continued walking.
"The Dungeon..." Ivi smirked at the cheesy name as she rubbed condensation off the window an looked through. Full to the brim with unsavory characters. She didn't even think twice before walking past.
"The Cozy Corner Inn..."She read allowed. She noticed the warm glowed offered and the slim occupants. She smiled, glad to finally have found a place worth spending money on.
She pulled the latch and opened the door, slipping in quickly, letting the door close carefully. She saw the warm fire and made her way towards it to warm her hands and get a bit of herself dried before looking to get something to eat. Two men sat beside the fire, hardly noticing the new comer. She listened to their casual conversation, glad to have finally a place that wasn't uncomfortable...it was indeed, cozy.
She saw a row of cloaks and shaws hanging close the fire, so she naturally added her own to the collection as she made her way to the counter.

*Erebeth briefly smiled as another guest came in, quickly finishing her mopping before returning the mop and bucket to the closet. She quickly went back to her post behind the counter in the corner of the room, washing her hands thoroughly before turning to look at the new guest and leaning against the counter on her elbows casually as always.* "Good day, miss. What can I get for you? A strong drink, a hot meal, a comfortable bed?" *She offered her warmest smile, briefly lifting a hand to brush a few locks of her unruly hair out of her eyes.*

"How about one of each." she said simply with a small smile. She rummaged through the small bag hooked to her belt, thumbing through the coins blindly, counting out their amount's by the size in which they felt.
After grabbing the proper amount she placed them on the counter. "Will this be enough?"

*Erebeth nodded quickly with a smile, scooping up the coins and pocketing them.* "That will do." *She turned away from the new guest, ducking down behind the counter to unlock the small wooden box with all of her keys in it. After pulling out a rather small and simple silver key, she turned back to her customer with that same warm smile she always had.* "Here we are... Room seventeen is yours. Up the stairs, down the hall, fourth door on your left. Now sit tight while I cook something up for you. Anything in particular you're craving today, miss?"

Ivi bit her lip as she thought. She could already smell a sweet smell coming from the kitchen, where food had already been cooked.
"Whatever you have already made, will suffice." she said simply. She fingered the key to her room, wondering to herself how long her stay in Minas Tirith will last. The House of Healing was a large goal, and those she had mentioned her dream to only laughed, knowing only the upstanding healers of Gondor work for the The House.
