so, it's happened to Alethia and it's now happening to Sat and it's happened to others before.
You sign in, but you show up as a guest.
Who knows what's up with this?
is it just the computer? or is there some way to fix it? does anyone know?
I tried looking at the
"tools > options > advanced > clear now"
but each web browser is different.
I couldn't find anything for "clear now" on internet explorer, but on Maxthon al you have to do is go to:
"tools > clean system > clean cache"
for firefox it's:
"tools > clear private data > cache"
and just check it off on the list.
but I've never had any problem with signing in. so does anyone have any ideas? any other ways to fix it? or is it a problem with the entire computer?

it doesn't really explain all the guests. sometimes search engines get the site, or actual guests.
I've even noticed that if some people are posting, and take a long time, their name disappears and another guest is added. there's lots of reasons for guests aside from this malfunction.

That auto-logout thing you're talking about has happened to me several times. It's d**ned frustrating... I'm glad we have a "stay logged in forever" option at the bottom of the main page now. As for the initial topic of the thread... I have no idea how to fix it. Sounds weird to me... get Novalyyn on it, that's her area of expertise. ;D
