Jeschaal's alarm increased drastically when a shadow hand grabbed Lenore, and even more so when darts of some kinds were flung at her and the other students. Grabbing Smoke [who protested loudly], she moved quickly to one of the windows and opened it.
Whistling a few tunes, it wasn't but a few seconds before squirrels and birds came into the room, and they began surrounding the unknown thing that had become Ms. Suzumiya. This was the only thing the young girl thought would help, as she hadn't really been trained in fighting; her skills were more with the animals and healing.
Panicked, but not wanting to flee, she sat near the window with the freaked-out kitten held securely, praying to the Equine of the Plains that whatever this thing was, it would leave them all be- and soon.

((I assume there are windows; Noel noticed them earlier because they were open. )) When the darts started flying, Noel didn't really have time to think about what she was doing. She joined Jeschaal by the window, cowering underneath a desk. The darts whizzed over her head, hitting the desk and the ground around her. After a few seconds, she dared to look up. Jeschaal was opening the window. "What are you doing?" she hissed. She reached to tug the girl down but before she could, birds and squirrels started dashing in the windows. The girl then sat down near her, protecting her kitten. Ordinarily, Noel would have found the idea of a kitten in a school quite odd, but now all her attention was focused on figuring out how to get out of this situation. She closed her eyes and took deep breathes. Her father's words echoed in her head. "Calm, Noel. You must be calm." She slowed her breathing and her heart returned to its regular rhythm. "Now, find the water. You must find a source. Let your heart show you where it is." Taking a deep, she looked for water. Just above her, she sensed the water lines that were connected to the sprinkler system, perfect for what she needed. "Now push." She focused on the water, urging it towards her. Nothing happened. "Push harder." The water pipes in the ceiling started clanging, shaking from the pressure building up. "You are in control." The head of the sprinkler burst from the ceiling, showering water down on her. She managed to control it from hitting her and sent it shooting towards the teacher. Noel couldn't help but smile a little. This is the part I'm good at, she thought, as the water built up around the teacher's ankles. She reached out and touched the water in front of her. Like a chain reaction, the water turned to ice like a snake slithering through the grass, freezing the teacher in place. Water continued to shoot out of the sprinkler and, much to Noel's annoyance, she was starting to get wet. She scooted to the back of the room and willed the water forward as she put on her hat. ((In case you haven't noticed, my character hasn't had a lot of practice and kinda sucks at life lmfao.))

Lenore saw the water falling and backed away from it... This was going to cause a problem... If too much got wet, or other people did... Well Lenore found it a bad idea to use any electricity again while the water was still present. The last thing she wanted to do was try to help and end up hurting the wrong people.

Well, this was great. A killer shadow was trying to grab one of the girls, to which the other two were separately doing their own thing, and that Okami kid was busy being fairly useless. From Mercutio's standpoint, it seemed to him that a shadow wouldn't be very perturbed by ice or forest wildlife, though electricity might just do something...
It was unfortunate at this point that Mercutio had never really been good at listening during his lessons, because for once in his life the information he would have learned might actually come in handy. Oh well, no use mourning over what couldn't be changed; he'd just have to make due with what he had right now. Which, unfortunately, wasn't a whole lot. Manipulating metal took as much of a mental strain as it did physical - one has to pertain to a certain shape or ideal in order to properly perform magic-based metallurgy, something that isn't nearly as easy as it sounds.
So screw it with the ideologies, let's just wreck stuff. Slipping from his nearly-too-small desk, Mercutio took a quick look around, trying to figure out what he had to work with. Well, it turned out they weren't stuck in the science lab, so tossing butane torches around was out of the question. However, the desk up front had a proportionate amount of metal in it - unfortunately, it was also bolted to the floor. What else?
Hmm... there were light fixtures overhead, but could he move enough of them to vanquish the possessing shadow? Let alone, without breaking the fluorescent tubes. That left one last option; his fists. Probably not the best option, though...
Wait, that big whiteboard behind her, that might be backed by some sort of metal... but he'd have to touch it for whatever magics he had to work. Leaping over several rows of student desks, he made his way over to the other side of the room, aiming to get on Ms. Suzumiya's blind side. Hopefully she'd be distracted with the others spraying her with freezing water and aggravated forest creatures.

Shinnon had dodged the darts that had been aimed at him growling deep as he had not expected this turn of events.
'I just wanted to try and find out who the heck else I had to deal with and this thing pops out and possesses my homeroom teacher. BLOOD AND ASHES!' he thought as everyone else broke off and tried to use thier abilities.
He was impressed at how the ice girl used the sprinklers, but the other the earth girl didn't seem like she wanted to fight. That he could understand but he was always up for a good brawl. This sudden appearance of this thing had caused his blood to start boiling and in effect not realizing it had begun to raise the temperature of the room with his battle lust awakening.
He rushed at her with his fist lowered on his left side but she swatted him back, the temperature hot enough in the room to have evaporated some or most of the excess water. As he feel back reeling he shot out his fist and aimed it at the shadow...dumbluck actually yet she simply moved aside and the fireball smashed into the wall shattering the board from the force and exposing some of the metal skeleton of the building.....
The shadow felt it stuck and was preoccupied with Shinnon's attack and struggling to get loose she hadn't noticed Mercutio moving as Shinnon slammed into the desk in front of the girl with the cat....

Smoke was howling, as only cats can do when they're wet, and Jeschaal herself wasn't too thrilled either. She stayed where she was, though, as it seemed the shadow thing was preoccupied, which was good. When Mercutio went hopping over the desks, she couldn't help but look at him weird. What the hell was he doing? But the thought barely crossed her mind when flame-boy came sprawling into the desk in front of her, and Smoke proceeded to claw his way into her jacket. "Ow! d**n cat. Hey, you okay?"
Crawling over to Shinnon, she ignored the cuts from Smoke, deciding that for once maybe she should pay attention to something that wasn't running around on four legs. Glancing up, however, the young girl realized that the shadow wasn't done, and knew something had to be done, whether it would do anything or not.
Closing her eyes, Jeschaal thought of roots, vines, and trees, and placed her palms flat on the floor. The ground began to rumble and shake, causing the desks to shuffle one direction or another. Even though she was young, her parents had mentioned many times at how she could control the plants, and had put her in charge of their many greenhouses. But why should they be surprised? It's in her blood!
After what seemed an eternity to Jeschaal [but only a few seconds to the others], the floor burst in random spots around the room, and vines of all shapes and sizes came shooting towards their possessed teacher. She didn't even know if it would do anything, but it was worth a try, especially if they were all in danger.
If anyone would take a close look at the young girl, they would see green flecks in her eyes, which happened whenever she used her abilities to shape the earth. They faded with time, but there would be no sneaking around her parents without them knowing she had dome something.

Well, the sneaky bit worked well enough. Now for the big finish. He didn't really want to hurt the woman, but it seemed that if she was possessed, there wasn't much in the way of indirect force that would get her un-possessed or whatever. And thus, a direct approach would be used.
Grabbing hold of the whiteboard edge, he Felt it, the aluminum metal hiding behind a ceramic, almost-perfectly white surface. More than enough for his purposes. He also managed to Feel the presence of steel screws holding the whiteboard up against the wall. What he would do next was going to likely hurt him more than it would hurt the freakish shadow holding their teacher hostage, especially since he sucked at being anything but subtle and gentle with his 'magic'.
But before he could, a fireball munched through most of the board he was about to use, leaving a gaping hole in it's wake. It took quite some effort to not swear up a storm and attract attention his way, the physical effort of gritting his teeth and growling quietly helping to sedate his anger a little. It helped some that he reminded himself that there was still half a board to use; not that it mattered much, since a good piece of it was ruined, but it was still something.
With Ms. What's-her-face's attention diverted, he hiked as much active energy as he could into the whiteboard, bending about two feet's worth of whiteboard in front of him without hardly a screech of metal, though the coating chipped and broke off. That would have to do for the time being. Feeling the remaining screws again, he managed to wear them down to stubs, whereby he could remove the board at his choosing. In the meanwhile, he watched the others. Apparently the freezing attempt wasn't working very well, and one of the other girls was still going at it, though how useful vines would be was beyond his thinking. Though it did give him an idea about what to do; if direct attacks weren't working, would a decent set-up do?
Well, it was more of a plan than the others were contributing, at least.
With a grunt of effort, he shoved the remains of the whiteboard towards the woman, until there was a good foot or two sticking out behind her. It began to drop and buckle as plaster broke and fell, but Mercutio managed to keep the remaining length steady enough to brace it into the open hole. With an abrupt roar of challenge in the form of a very inappropriate swear word, Nero pulled back on what was now a huge lever, hoping to knock the demon-teach off-balance, and with any luck, right into the vines that were now speeding towards her.
*does that work? >.> didn't exactly specify how much power any of them have X-x*

Noel was proud of her work; the teacher was sufficiently iced into place. However, as one of the boys attacked the teacher, she noticed the temperature rising. The water was evaporating, and the ice was starting to melt. She closed her eyes and tried to gather more water, but she wasn't able to because of the rising temperature. There were people in her family that could collect the moisture from the air, but Noel was no where near as talented as they were. With a crack, the teacher managed to free one of her legs from the melting ice. Noel managed to concentrate long enough to re-freeze the other leg, but she wasn't sure how long it would hold the teacher. ((I've got a bad case of zombie virus, forgive me for the half-assed post ))
