I'm going to make a vampire character if that's all right with you Pinata. Like, a super-ultra lame vampire that stalks my main character because he wants to make her "his queen". But that'll be much later, cuz I'm busy right now lol.

Might need to switch around some vampire names so that an Edward makes more sense among all those Italian names, though. And yes, this is looking interesting with all these brooding characters. But there should still be some humor, Ape's character seems to have the potential to be a good deadpan snarker. And if things get too grim I can always bring in Nathan McCain from the book series... every sentence that comes out of his mouth is a joke.

Yay sounds good. And it doesn't have to be an Edward, but I loath how obsessed people have become. I mean, I've read the books and liked them and the movies aren't TERRIBLE but... Seriously people? Especially my friends. I feel like shooting them some days. ((And I'm Team Jacob... *shifty eyes*))
I have a few more questions, just so we get an idea of how this will play out. 1. Once the characters enter the mythological world, will they be able to exit it? Like, into the real world? 2. What's the name of the college and the class? (It is a college, right?) 3. In the bio you wrote about a "chosen one". Is there one "chosen one" or are all three of us "chosen ones"?
Oh and a suggestion. Since it seems it's only going to be the three of us in the beginning, I think it might be a good idea to have the professor teach a large class (like, thirty students), but only the three of us get dragged in. Idk what you had planned/what the book is like, but for the purpose of this RP, it might work better. Especially if someone decides to jump in later on.

Especially my friends. I feel like shooting them some days. ((And I'm Team Jacob... *shifty eyes*)) I'm Team Alice. I'd love to see Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene making out. If they have magic they can do it themselves, otherwise they'll need Alira's help. I was leaving the name of the college ambiguous due to me being the only person involved who's never been to Ohio, but in the book series it's Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. And the class is Folklore & Mythology 101. Everyone who is named in the prophecy is a Chosen One. I still have to work out which roles your characters might play, although BB does have some similarities in looks and personality with The Witch Queen from the books, so if you don't object to her having latent magical abilities that really freak her out when they first show themselves then we can go with that for her. Professor Banks is The Teacher, and Alira is The Emissary, so they're both Chosen Ones as well. Yeah, sure. That sounds good. I'm still gonna try and drag Eldae and Kait in, and Novalyyn sounded interested and just hasn't posted a character yet, so we might get more people before things get underway... but if we don't, I think we can manage it just the three of us.

And the class is Folklore & Mythology 101. Ape and I are in Ohio! Just thought that was kind of funny. We could make up a college. And a mascot. That would be lots-o-fun. And it could be really really stupid. Like, Luther State College, home to the Fighting Chinchillas. Idk. I still have to work out which roles your characters might play, although BB does have some similarities in looks and personality with The Witch Queen from the books, so if you don't object to her having latent magical abilities that really freak her out when they first show themselves then we can go with that for her. I don't mind as long as you give me a heads up and stuff.

Well, it'd be you writing it. Just because I started this doesn't give me permission to godmod once we're underway.

Hurray for cows and cornfields, NASCAR and Budweiser, overly large tires on overly large trucks, with Taz the Tasmanian devil mudflaps and mudflap girl bumper stickers! Hurray for flannel shirts, carhartt jackets, timberland boots, and really low IQs! Celebratory confetti for all! Just don't get any in the potatoes... (Note to self: Get out of Ohio as soon as possible.)

Lol! Agree with all! I live in the HEART of rural Ohio. On a dairy farm. The "town" I live in doesn't even have a stop light and takes five minutes to drive to. The nearest Wal-Mart? Half hour drive.

Btw, can we start this soon? I'm uber pumped to get this going; I don't want the feeling to go away because we waited too long.

Out town is growing, we got our own Wal-Mart and everything! But I know what you mean. I'm in about central/slightly-southeast Ohio. It's a pretty small town here (The Library makes me sad, it's so puny) and it's a 10 minute drive just to get to the dratted thing! Oddly, I'm only 40 minutes from Columbus, I think I just live in a pothole in between all the big cities.

Will start the thread tomorrow or Wednesday, Rosy. I planned to start it today, but overslept and couldn't get to it with all the other sh** I had to do. I used to live in a town like that, but it was in North Carolina so, well, worse.
