Andrew thought for a while and would have shrugged if he could, "Alright, you're the point man. Take the lead." A cave would be a good idea especially to rest. At least if it rained again, they would stay dry. With the doctor herself not doing too good, they would be in a lot of trouble if someone got sick.
As they walked for a while, he saw a very faint blue glow coming from a hole in the rock face to their left. It was hardly visible. If there was enough place in this cave, they could cover the exit with some brushes and hide from view completely. He whispered as he nodded towards the cave, "There..."
((Heh, the blue glow is kinda an idea from Pitch Black if you have seen it))

Tammara wasnt sure where they were all going was a good idea. But she didnt object she followed the rest of crew her hand hoverng over her gun in case she needed it.
Alex walked beside Andrew keeping an eye on his little sister. "She doesnt look so good...I mean she looks a little scared." She said looking at Andrew.

*ok, ok >.<*
Small holes in the ground were not good places to be. Then again, this whole planet seemed inhospitable to most all forms of life, except those that were, apparently, just as ravenously hateful of other species. And so it was that Matilda continued following, if only because she had no other choice than to be taken by those... people, if you could call them that anymore, for purposes that were unknown and unthinkable.
It was dark, and it was damp, two things that were supposed to be attributes of a cave. One attribute that wasn't present, however, was bats, and Matilda was very thankful for that. Flying rats just weren't her thing, although for whatever reason she'd gotten a bit into the human Gothic thing for a while when she first came to Gaia, what some humans she knew called their home planet. Swallowing down the fears she had, the doctor followed tentatively, though with great difficulty due to her high heeled shoes. After several attempts, Matilda gave up on them, breaking off the high and heels parts of the shoes, more than a bit annoyed at having to do that given how expensive they'd been. Sacrifices were necessary at this time, so she didn't give too much of a fit over it. With her salary, she could always buy more when- no, if she ever got back to some semblance of society.
Through the whole ordeal, her mouth was shut. Matilda had nothing to say, so why should she run off her mouth unnecessarily?

Andrew looked around at the others and sighed, "Fine, I will go in if you all insist so much...", he whispered with a smile on his face. He moved to the opening of the cave as the others kept guard outside in case their position is discovered before they could make it into their hiding spot.
He guided himself with the glow that was coming from inside the cave. But he didn't see the gentle, slippery slope that was formed of smooth, wet rock face. He slipped and slid down slowly on his back the way he had fallen. His shoes were partly emerged in a small puddle of water that must have formed during the rain. He got up and looked to his right. He must have walked in a curve inside for about a dozen yards before he came into a larger 'room' in the cave. This was also the end as he couldn't see any passageway that was big enough for a person to even crawl through. His attention was drawn immediately to the ceiling with seemed to house the source of the blue glow. He smiled and commented, "Well, that's convenient." The ceiling had slow moving, insects that were giving our a blue florescence light. At least they had light in here. He went back, this time taking precaution on the slow and still almost lost his balance.
He emerged from the cave and spoke, "Ok, it's safe and has enough space for all of up to rest. If we could somehow just cover the entrance, we won't have to worry about being disturbed. Oh, and watch your footing here, its very slippery."

Edgar was out in the brush keeping watch as the group moved into the cave to see if it was a good place to stay. As he expected, Andrew emerged later and the group began to move inside. Once they were all inside, Edgar walked in after them.
"This will be a good spot to get some rest for the night..." Edgar said, looking around. It was cold, and he quickly began to make a fire in the middle of the cave. That would give some more light and some nice heat for the injured. The fire was easier to make the second time, and once he had it started, he turned and walked up to the edge of the water in the cave. Where they were was above the water level, but the entrance was below it. It would be perfect for staking out and ensuring they were not ambushed.
"I'll keep watch, get some rest." He said to everyone, making eye contact with them all, stopping on Tamara, who still looked lost and defeated at the loss of Malcolm, "Hang in there kid... We lost too many today, we won't lose anymore, I promise you that..."
Edgar sat down on a rock as he pulled the mag from his gun and began refilling it with spare ammo he had brought...

[[sorry guys d**n school and trying to find a new job is taking up time.]]
Tamara followed them as the climbed into the cave. Once she was in she found a small corner that was facing the entrance and sat down. "Hang in there." She repeated to her self as she hugged her legs to her chest and rested her head on her knees.
Lex followed right behind Andrew and helped Tamara in once she was in and she made her self comfortable Alex smiled. Looking at Andrew she sighed "she's really shaken up about her bo's death huh," she looked at Tamara again "Poor Girl..." She turned her attention back to Andrew "want to go exploring?" She said with a devious smile even though it wasnt safe she still had thing for danger.

Once Andrew was sure that Tamara and Matilda had both settled down near the fire. He sat down. He was exhausted from everything he had done today. It was like being back at the training camp where at night, you were usually too tired to do anything at all. He had lost some of that stamina and would have loved to be in that training condition at this moment, it would have helped them more.
He watched Edgar move to take guard. He would have offered to help him with it but he needed some time to rest his body. Maybe he would take the next shift. He watched Alex as she helped Tamara settle down then asked him about going out again. He straight away shook his head and added, "No, we are not going anywhere. Last time I left them, they almost got taken by those people."
He turned and sat down next to her sister and took her hand in his and whispered something in her ear, "Its ok sis, I am right here. Get some rest. Nothing's going to bother you here."

Tamarra looked at her brother and smiled "thanks Andy I know. Go and talk to Alex I'll be fine..." She said yawning as she felt tired and layed down she curled up and went to bed.
Alex shrugged as he said know. "I understan--" she was cut off by his leaving. She looked over at him and his sister "he really does care about her..." She said as she took off her jumpsuit so she was just in her jeans and tank top. Alex walked over and lay her jump suit on the sleep Tamarra. "Night Tamarra If you need anything at all Andrew and will be right here." She said pushing her hair out of her face. She looked up at Andrew and apologized "sorry about askin ya to go exploring again I understand." Alex smirked "ya know your kinda cute when your taking care of your sister. Like a giant Teddy bear." She said with a chuckle.

While the group talked, Edgar watched the opening in the cave silently, a look of determination tempered by fury on his face. He didn't smile nor laugh at any of the comments being made. It seemed the loss of his brother and the crew members of the Furion had taken a heavy toll on his lighthearted demenour. Whether he recovered from it, or whether it changed him, only time would tell.
He sat there and watched his reflection in the water, the long scar along his face standing out even more in the moonlight reflection of the water. He reached into his pocket and pulled out another cigarette. He thought about lighting it up, but then put it back, figuring the scent would give away their position even more than the light from the fire inside the cave. The last thing he wanted to have to do is go to war with a tribe.
His shirt was wet, and the humidity inside the cave mixed with the heat of this place was making him uncomfortable, so he stood up and walked over near the fire, tossing his shirt and jeans down on the ground next to it to dry. He went back over to the rock and sat on it in only his boxers. he didnt care if it bothered any of the woman who might be taken aback by his scarred body. He was concerned with being comfortable while he stayed up, so he patiently waited, watching the entrance to the cave, while the others slept and talked..

Andrew smiled and watched as Tamarra curled up and went to sleep. He looked up as Alex laid down her jumpsuit on Tamarra. His eyes never left Alex as she came to sit down next to her. Andrew laid back, resting his upper body on one elbow as he turned to face Alex. As he listened to what she had to say next, he grinned and barely stopped himself from laughing loudly. "I have never been called that before but thanks... I guess. And its ok, I understand... you have been alone on this planet for a long time and want someone to talk to. I am just saying, we should do it here, so we don't cause trouble for the rest. Ok?"
He paused and moved back to rest his back against the cave wall and patted the place next to him as he looked towards Alex to tell her to shift back as well and asked, "So, tell me everything, from the start..."
(BT, you don't need to say it out, just say that she tells him and move on from that. Swytch, you gonna post?)

Alex began her story about she came to the planet"Well My best friend and I were going on Joy ride. Then the engine started acting a little funny so il told my friend to steer while a went checked her. One of the main screws was loose causing it shut down. The ships power went out and we fall out of space..." She continued the story. "I've been on the planet ever since. Alone. Since my friend died in the crash." She said smiling weakly hiding her real emotions..
[[sorry for the short post i was on an other website engaged in an other rp so yea... any way I fixed it. I'm still debating weather or not to bring in my new character....]]

Andrew was a bit surprised that her being alone on the island coupled with the death of her friend had not driven her mad yet. She must have a really strong spirit to keep on going alone on this planet alone. Andrew replied, "I am sorry to hear about your friend...", he paused seeing that the smile was forced. She had not talked to anyone for a long time and it must have been eating away at her all this time. Yet, still she was containing her emotions. He took her hand in his and gave it a gentle, reassuring squeeze. "Well, now there you have all of us to give you company so you won't be alone again." He added with a smile.
