((ooh ooh what won't he admit? lol))
Echo walked inside once Lucrimm opened the door, not sure how this was going to go but hoping she could keep the two from fighting and killing eachother.

Lucrimm growled under his breath at the demon now standing before him. Knowing very well if he wished it so, he could attack in seconds. He sensed Klar beside him, and then he was ready to talk.
"What is the meaning of the demon? Why do you wish to come with us? Why shouldn't I just bind you now and turn you in for the money huh?" he asked, not wasting any time.

"well first off," Echo glared as she spoke up, "I said we weren't. And I owe him for sparing me."

"I don't owe him anything," Lucrimm growled.

"But I do." she growled back, "and on that thought I don't owe you anything. If anything, you owe me for having that stupid fiend out and allowing it to harass and nearly kill me."

"Oh please... stop whining about that," he teased, "So... how do I know you have truly changed sides demon?"

Lunare looked back between the two, slightly confused. However, he was glad they were at odds. This was quite amusing at least, easing his own fear. This Lucrimm...was an odd one.
"Why not just bind me?" he asked,"I don't believe you wish to do that just yet."
'Or if you can,' he thought.
"And as for traveling with you...let's just say that I have a vested interest in you people," he said, stretching. He looked to the demon beside Lucrimm, only for a moment and looked back to Lucrimm.
"I'll leave you for now, to sleep on it as you would say," he said turning and going to the window. He stopped on the window sill and looked over his shoulder.
"Echo, have your leg looked after. It would be most....unfortunate if soemthing were to happen to you. I can smell yor blood from here," and with that he left through the window. One way or another, he would be near should they need him....
(Telling you what he won't admit to himself would ruin the surprise now wouldn't it. ;D )

Lucrimm stared after the demon... or rather the window the demon flew out of. He was stunned... utterly stunned.
"well...THAT was odd," he said in an unsure tone, "glad to be rid of him..."

Truth was that he had only gone up to the roof to put a little distance between him and the fiendbinder. He had seen that demon with him and known that with it's help, Lucrimm could have bound him....IF he knew what type of demon he was.
He had no possessions to speak of and had only been in the town for a little while. He had killed a few people of course, but he had found a few bodies himself that he had not touched. Perhaps another demon, or an animal. Lunare couldn't be sure.
However, he knew that this Lucrimm was of the average human personality. Most humans needed money to survive in this wretched land. And Lunare had been an excuse, he really didn't want to kill him. Especially if he could still be of some use...and then there was Echo situation and that just confused him....

Echo sighed as Lunare left, then she turned to look at the broken bed and ruined sheets. It was all already ruined so she tore off some of the sheets and put some bed stuffing on her leg before wrapping it tightly.
Sleep sounded nice right then, to get rid of some of the stress she'd gotten in the last... 20 minutes... BUT her bed was ruined, and she didn't really want to sleep on the floor.
All she could think to do was stay awake, or sleep in a chair.

"I'm erm... going to think on this a bit," he suddenly got serious, "if you want, you can go sleep in the bed in my room..."
He then sat down on the floor in the middle of the room and seemed to be meditating. Really though, he was thinking very hard on what to do. Could this demon be trusted? Who was he really? Could he help us AT ALL? These all ran through his head.

Echo sighed and thought about it for a bit before nodding and going to Lucrimm's room to sleep.

He was amused that she had actually gone to his room to sleep in his bed, this made him giggle a little. Back to matters at hand, "What do you think?"
He was obviously talking to Klar, her being the only think in the room that could respond to his question, "Well... there are 'good' demons you know. Me as an example."
Lucrimm scoffed, "you are not good... you are evil as all hell, you just love me," he teased.
It was Klar's turn to scoff now, and oh did she scoff, "You wish I did... I care, but only because that mistake of a human you call your mother bound me to you."
"Admit it," he teased her more

Lunare heard what was occuring below. So, the demon cared for Lucrimm? Is that possible? Could a demon "care" for something other than itself?
He was a demon, but he had never really had too much contact with anyone because of his duties. Being the Guardian of Tartarus wasn't an easy job. However, he had never known exactly why it was so important to guard it. The barrier was strong, so his presense was meaningless. At least in his view, so after a few millennia he had escaped the Underworld, finding the job he had BORING!
However, it had come with a price. He had lost his demon form, having used all his energy to escape. Even now, he rubbed the center of his forehead where his jagon was closed. He may have lost his true form, for now at least, but he retained some of his power.
"Could one care for another?" he asked himself as he rubbed his forehead and on impulse his thoughts strayed to the Irda, strangely.
"This isn't right," he said as he brought his claw up to his forehead and a slight light erputed from it. As he pulled his hand away, blood coming down a little from the scratches, he held a blue jewel in his left hand as big as the eye of a human.
He wiped the blood away from his head, the jewel havign noen on it, and pulled a few threads from his clothes and turn the jewel into a necklace.
This necklace was now no longer a part of him, but he had decided to make it up to Echo for hurting her. She obviously couldn't see the demons that Lucrimm summoned, but this would help.
He moved along the roof until he was sure of the room Echo was in. He moved down the side of the wall and looked in, not wanting her to know he was here and placed the necklace on the stand in front of the window.
"An apology," he said softly, and moved back up to the roof to eavesdrop on the fiendbinder for the rest of the night....
