Reinos felt pain, severe pain. He growled, the pain was from opening the Gate so close to Pandemonium, but also it was the pain of the others he sensed. He couldn't take thier pain, that was one thing he had learned was the limit of his abilities. He was no healer. However, he did send some of his own energy through the nexus of energy to those that hurt...maybe it would help. Then he focused on his task.
The shadows were lengthening in the Colosseum, though it was early morning. A rancid wind began to swirl in the pit, however Reinos paid no mind. He was entranced. His own shadow had changed shape again into that of the wolf demon. His chanting reaching out in volume, almost as if he were singing a song.
The Krono Guards were moving into the Colosseum, thier guns in hand. It seemed that thier orders were to kill on sight. However, an unexpected event had now occured. Half-breeds of all shape and size were coming from everywhere, converging on the Colosseum and the guards. Sharnos and Sonta seemed to be leading them as the members of the Council were now moving to deal with the Krono Elite. Largos was now officially in the midst of a Civil War.
As the large scale battle erupted outside, the Shadow Gate formed in the Pit opening with a rip that seemed ominous. It opened into a strange looking forest. Reinos stumbled back a bit, drained but said. "TIME TO GO!"
The wind suddenly began to pick up force, straight toward the portal that Reinos had created. The sudden jolt of the air pulled him off his feet and through the portal before he knew what had happened. He felt a cold sensation on his skin before he suddenly came flying through into the forest and slammed into tree...head first. Good thing he was hard headed. He just hoped that the others wouldn't be sucked in so violently. He got up and looked into the portal and saw that some of the debris was being moved by the wind. He got in front of the portal to catch those who got sucked in. This wasn't going to be easy...

It was all the little Elf girl could do not to flail and drop the disks when she got sucked off her feet, instead hugging herself to try and protect them and her body. Of course, that didn't stop her from screaming as loud as her little lungs would allow, and it rather compensated for the lack of flailing about. Fortunately, whatever is was she hit wasn't too awefully hard; she couldn't tell what it was with her eyes squeezed shut.

((Sorry, I was waiting for Zyphan to post... ))
Scoltun grabbed Zyphan's hand and lifted both of them off the ground. He could manage well enough with the help of the portal sucking them in. He got disoriented for a moment as he passed through the portal keeping his hold on Zyphan. He suddenly came out the other end and saw Reinos standing in front. There was no way he could catch them both and stand there for Roxy when they came through.
Scoltun opened his wings and raised himself over Reinos and came down steady on the ground behind him. He let go of Zyphan but couldn't look around. His eyes were clenched shut from pain, the last manuveur breaking through any kind of barrier he had put to mask his pain. He went down on all fours and tried to breathe which was causing even more pain in the chest. His wings were twitching uncontrollably. He raised a hand up to check his chest and couldn't support himself anymore and collapsed on the soft, green ground below him. They weer all safe now and so there was no need to torture himself anymore. So he had let go.

Roxy growled and tried to fight against the wind, her claws digging into the ground as it pulled at her, but then everyone else had gotten pulled in save for her and Almi, and she figured it best to go.
So Roxy gave a small jump and let the wind pull her in and through the portal.

Reinos had managed to grab Mierca and blinked when the winged pair came through. Fortunately they caught themselves. Reinos was a little envious. The winged ones could always handle air currents and such better than any land based demon. However, that went out of his mind when he saw the draconian collapse. The guy had been putting up quite a fight and he was more hurt than he let on obviously.
Reinos moved Mierca aside and was about to go try to help Scoltun when he saw movement...all around them. Figures dispersed from the forest around, seeming to move like shadows. The only race on the face of any planet old enough to remember demons as they originally were.
A bunch of them moved over to Scoltun, they were clad in strange clothing that allowed them to blend into thier surroundings, but they were rushing to the draconian's side as if...
"Tell the lost ones that we will always watch over them..." the elf's words rang in Reinos' memory. They were there to help.
Then, he saw Roxy coming through...Uh-oh. Reinos shifted into his werewolf state fast and grab her in a bear hug as he dug in his claws. Almi's limp form followed quickly as he managed to grab her around hte waist, hoping she didn't get jarred too much as the gate winked out from existence with it's task completed...

Roxy gave a bit of a growl as Reinos caught her, feeling rather uncomfortable being held with one arm and wanting to get back on four legs so she could get back on 2 easily.

Reinos set Roxy down and shifted back to his human form, being careful with Almi's body. She was still unconscious. Two elves had appeared before Reinos, both seemingly very old.
"We see you, Lord of Moonlight," one of the old men said, he was looking at Reinos.
'What did he call me?' Reinos thought for a moment,"Uh, I see you as well. Please, call me Reinos and it would please me greatly to knwo who I am addressing," he said, the elves looked pleased with his response.
"I am Toka, healer and advisor to the queen and I make known to you my compatriate, Panar," he said. This was wierd.
"Can you help my friends?" Reinos asked, not thinking. He was worried. The elves didn't look pleased with his outbursts.
"It seems though he is old for the half-breeds, he still has yet to learn proper manners," Panar said to Toka. He had a strange wild look to him.
"Indeed...Reinos we will help your friends and take you to a place to rest. I trust that you will not embarass yourself any further when you address the Queen. She is most...anxious to speak with you," Toka said. This sounded like a grandather telling his grandchildren to behave.
The other elves had placed Scoltun on a stretcher and had brought one for Almi. Reinos placed her on it and then looked to Mierca. She was an elf and yet none of the others even seemed to notice her.
"Umm, Toka...Panar, I make known to you Mierca of the house of Lo'ora," he said. Now they looked at the girl with real fascination.
"Child, you the queen wishes to speak with advidly, now come," Panar said. Reinos was getting a really bad feeling about that one.
Reinos touched Meirca's shoulder and moved her forward a little with his hand. He would be right behind her. The other elves were already moving through the massive silver elms.
This place looked like something out of a fantasy. These trees were larger than Reinos had ever seen, except in that dream where he is always running. There was a strange sent in the air too.
Reinos had been used to the smell of humans and oil, grease and other smells that normally marked human civilizatio, but ehre there were none of those smells. Not too mention Reinos smelled things here that he couldn't begin to imagine.
They seemed in the middle of nowhere, but every step brought them to an area that looked like a garden. If he hadn't of known better he would have swore they were in a city.
Reinos was looking at all of it when it suddenly hit him that they were in a city. The houses were so perfectly built that they blended right into the forest itself. Reinos shook his head for a moment.
Then, suddenly the procession came out into a clearing where a few horses were in front of a massive builing that he could ohave swore had grown there. It looked like a house shaped tree, but there Reinos left the comparison because this mansion was comprised of silver, just like the elms and here was wear things got strange. Reinos could have swore he had seen it before....

Mierca looked around in wonder, doing as she was told only semi-conciously. There was something vaguely familiar about all of it, and yet it was all alien to her. Either way, it was beautiful.
Then what had been said started to sink in. A queen wanted to speak with her? Would she finally meet her real parents, too? House of Lo'ora?
She tugged lightly on Reinos' hand and said quietly. "But I'm from a building on twenty-second avenue."

Reinos looked down at the girl. She was confused and she had a little light in her eye that Reinos couldn't explain.
"That was where you lived in Largos, Mierca," he said,"But these nice people have granted us a rest here so that we may think of what to do."
He looked to the two escorting them,"And I'm certain the Queen wishes to know of our plans as well," he said to thier backs.
"For now, Mierca," he said looking down at the girl,"We are guests here and must behave as such. However," he dropped to his knees for a moment...
"Do not let them know of Kyra," he said in a whisper,"Or of your relationship with her. That is of utmost importance...."
He looked to the others for a moment to see if they had heard....

Roxy followed after them all quietly, feeling kinda of tired and wanting to go back to her human shape... but she really didn't want to bother with talking, so she stayed as she was.
She saw Reinos stop to talk to Mierca and overheard a bit, just looking at them for a bit before continueing to walk.

Oh, she had forgotten about that. But, they had apparently recognized her name, so wouldn't they know about Kyra too? Or was he referring to how to she could apparently speak with and even be controlled by the woman? The child still wasn't sure what harm it could do, but she didn't know why she should bother to mention it, anyway.
She was trying to keep quiet, especially since it had seemed to upset those leading them when Reinos had only pointed out that the others were hurt. However, she could only manage so long before asking, a little bit louder and squeakier than she'd intended, "A-are my parents here? Can... can I meet them?"

The two elderly elves looked at the child, with a strange look on thier faces.
"That is one reason why the queen wishes to see you little one," Toka said,"She wishes to speak with you alone if need be."
However, the look that Toka got from Reinos he missed. Though the elves wished to help, he wasn't about to trust them with Mierca or his friends completely until he knew what THEY wanted. He had a feeling that the answers both he and they saught were in Mierca's little hand.
As they entered into the massive doors, Reinos armed burned for a moment, as if he had been scoured with that acidic blood again. However, just as quickly it was gone.
"Pay it no heed," one of the elves said, Reinos couldn't tell, soem looked too much alike,"It is was only a search for aggressive magic, nothing more."
They were taken to a room with beds on all areas, a few with curtains. Obviously, a medical ward of some sort, but there were strange glyphs all over the floor and room.
Almi and Scoltun were placed on two of the beds as the other elves departed, Toka spoke,"Rest here. Your friends will heal well in this room. The queen will be with you shortly..."

((Fine, you asked for it )) It was quite soon that the elves trying to treat him realized that the conventional medicine would not work as his skin didn't seem to absorb the herbal juices mainly because of its property. His skin became a disadvantage at times like these since the same property that made him resilient also made it harder for him to be treated if he did get injured. They soon gave up and started channeling something. He saw only flashes as he zoned in and out of consciousness. They seemed to be channeling some kind of bright energy to one of the their group. When this seemed to have been finished, he stepped forward and touched his chest which seemed to have sustained the most damage. He seemed to concentrate hard and passed the energy through easily. Scoltun felt his pain subside and he almost fell asleep in the comfort of the healing. But what he saw in his 'dream' was a man, no a dragon, a lot like him... a monster, spewing fire out of his mouth, the tail and hands seemed to be on fire, the hard scaly skin glowing in the light. He snapped his eyes open, not fully understanding what he had just seen. Was it him? ((Happy sat? ))

Zyphan had caught herself easily after following Scoltun into the portal, and almost drew her sword when the elves appeared from the trees. Once she realized that they were peaceful, she relaxed, and followed the Draconian's stretcher, looking around her in awe at their surroundings.
She watched for a while as healers tried to help Scoltun, sitting on her bed in just her jeans and shirt, the rest beside her. As they moved off a bit, the phoenix moved next to his bed, kneeling on the floor, intent on the elves' next healing trick. When Scoltun jumped, she pressed a hand to his shoulder, hoping to keep him from sitting up. "Hey, you okay? You took some pretty bad stuff back in the Collosseum. The elves are trying to heal you now, I think." If she knew any healing spells or ways to use ice or water for healing, she would help. But Zyphan, annoyed with herself, was forced to stay on the sidelines and watch as others made the second avian in the group better.

Darkness again... that cold, cold darkness... so much suffering she saw... men, women, and even children, being punished and hurt for things they could not help. What was the little girl, who didn't even know what she was, let alone them, help? What could she do, if anything, but watch from behind the darkness as the persecution continued? It was all very disheartening... all of it was. Once again, she was helpless and insignificant in the scheme of things... And this little girl didn't like being that.
But still, warmth, and some of it wasn't her dreaming she knew somehow. So she fought on through her nightmare, through her own personal Hell of the moment, until she began feeling more of it. Even as light began returning to her, she had not the energy to go further. If she wished to ever regain consciousness, she would either need more strength from within herself somewhere, or the help of the others... because, as it was, she would die within days if Alma's condition didn't change...
She saw visions of her own; the wasteland, an old man with incredible powers, a city burning, destroyed from within. However, the one that fascinated her the most was the one that was the plainest... a young woman, looking much like her but a few years aged, with what looked like a replica Telecaster in her hands. Her appearance wasn't really that interesting, but her voice... if there were ever an angel that had come to earth to be human, she would have to be that one, because the voice Alma heard was heavenly beyond recognition. If this woman was her, then she would need to practice a lot more.
But when she started playing, Alma was lost... lost in the music, the vocals, everything... she was truly an earthly angel, and one would be hard-pressed to find a voice matching hers... Was this really what scrawny little Almara was to become?
'Yes' she told herself, 'yes, I will become her, that lady I see here. I will get stronger, no matter what it takes. Oh mother, where are you...' And as the dream ended, darkness returned, but now she knew what she would do... Alma would get stronger, and she would become what she was to become; oh how little she knew about her destiny...
