Scoltun stood calmly in the middle of the arena, watching the transformation. He had obviously not assumed that they would be facing un-armed humans today. So he wasn't too surprised to see them change into the monsters that now stood in front of him. He was more concerned about getting out at this point and only wondered how he could use his opponents to do that.
He looked towards where he remember the cannons to be then back at the six in front of him. He looked to his side and slightly behind at the man in the red armor and spoke, "Lets get this over with..." He didn't know whether there would be a formal start of the match or this was it. He didn't particularly care at this point as he didn't see what worse could be done to him at this point if he 'disobeyed'.
Of course he was scared as he didn't know what kind of powers these creatures held but he also knew he was stronger now. He flapped his wings to get the crampness out of them before taking to the air and began moving towards the Pack.

Almi's eyes went wide as she spotted the red in the arena, but when she raced for the gate, screaming for him at the top of her lungs to be heard over the crowd, a large steel door cascaded down, slamming with a dull thud at her feet. Inch-thick titanium separated her from her Guardian, and no matter how hard she pounded against it, the seal wouldn't budge an inch. She sat down in the tear-soaked dirt, trying to figure out what to do next... There had to be another way inside that wouldn't attract too much attention, as she didn't want last night happening all over again. It was about then that Almi remembered the announcer. Of course, there was sure to be many cameras and such watching. There had to be a way through, there just had to be...
"Agreed" he stated calmly, cracking his knuckles as he waited for the pack to attack. For a moment, his eyes diverted, thinking that he heard Almara off somewhere nearby, but the gates had closed. This was do or die now, depending upon if he ever lived through this at all... His attention returned to the enemies who were now surrounding him, but he seemed to have lost track of one of them...
(sry for the short post, but i'm kinda at a loss for now x-x)

As he expected, the group started to break up as he approached trying to circle around no doubt. He heard the Guardian say he was ready. As he tried to see the pattern of movements, mostly to find the leader of this 'Pack', his sharp hearing picked up a distinct scream over the noise of the crowd. The only reason he could distinguish it from the cheers because he recognized it.
Almi was here and that meant so were the rest. Their original plan had been to rescue and break out Almi's Guardian. Now he was an additional burden. He would have to find a way to take away that concern from Reinos and the rest. He suddenly realized that one of the wolves had raced past him. He spun around in the air and warned the man who also didn't see the monster now behind him, "Behind you!"

Zyphan grabbed for Almi too late as she lunged towards the door, afraid she would get locked in the arena with the others. After the child started crying, she crept out from the alcove and wrapped her arms around the girl, stoking her hair. "Hey, it's okay. We'll get your Guardian out of here. That's what we came for, remember?" And she remembered it now, the discussion they all had before going through all the tunnels to come back to the one place every demon and half-demon feared. She realized that the red-armoured figured who passed them in the corridor was her Guardian, the one they all came for.
I have to find Reinos, but he said to wait here...Well, either way, we need to get up into the stands somehow. I have to know what's going on. Zyphan glanced around her, looking for someone she could swap outfits with. A lone guard came around the corner, going the opposite direction, and Zyphan quickly put her out, trading clothes quickly before coming back to a sobbing Almi.
"Almi, I'm going to play as your guard, and I was given orders to show you what we do with demons who misbehave. Act like you're my prisoner, ok? I'm going to try and somehow get us up into the stands or somewhere near it so we can see what's going on." She hesitated for a second, remembering the girl's reactionw when she saw her Guardian. "But you must restrain yourself from running out to him. Scoltun's out there, and I know he'll see me. You just need to trust me on this while Reinos isn't here. I'm hoping this will work, but dreading it if they catch us."
She peeked around the corner, and since the hallway was empty, motioned to Almi to follow her, hoping the poor girl could keep it together long enough for them to pull this off.

Almi tried protesting, but knew it wasn't any use. Besides, by the looks of the others she didn't know anything about out there, running immediately outside wasn't the best idea in hindsight. She followed, but only grudgingly. She knew the drill, having been in 'trouble' a few times before, though she'd had her Guardian in those times to bail her out before.
Poking the cuffs on Zyph's belt, she remembered a little something... "Hey, shouldn't you be takin' my guitar? I mean, it'd be weird if one of them just left it with me..." It would add to the realism of it all, although a non-human guard of most any sort was probably going to stand out like a pterodactyl in a bat cave.
*sh**~! pretty much almost forgot about the other part i'm playing x-x was gonna wait on Sat for it unless he doesn't mind other people playing the characters that he has...*

*Swytch your doing just fine, it's just the lead characters that I would mind being takingo control of. The leaders like the mistress and the pack leader, who isn't in there by the way. These things are free reign, just don't kill them all off just yet.*
"I'll take that," said a voice from behind as Almi's guitar was quickly removed from her person. A guard stood behind them in the shadows.
"That was quite a scream a moment ago, good thing these old ears of mine can pick them up," he said,"I'm guessing 'Hellhound' is back in the arena, considering you are one of the two he escaped with."
He stepped out from the shadows, wearing the black armor of the Krono Elite. However, he seemed young to be of that branch. A young man in his early to late twenties.
"You need a way in, I can help. There is a way, and I just so happen to be going there. Shall I escort you," he said. He looked to the fallen guard and his eyes flashed red for a moment.
In the corridors, Reinos looked it over and thought he saw a pattern, but he would leave that to Roxy. He knew she would be able to figure out a way past them. He never did think to well.
"We got the pattern memorized?" he asked Roxy knowing he would have to follow her lead and hating having to hurry, and looked to Mierca,"Your part will be coming soon little one. We just get past here and then we're in the Central Core Access Chamber. That is where I will need your help most of all."
The monsters in the pit didn't waste anytime. They wanted the red one, but the onw with the wings was a threat. They circled warily and one finally lunged for the Guardians back while omne of the kitsune lunged into the air after the Draconian, intending to bring him to earth.
In the upper stands, the Mistress was watching with a little smile. The collar having been brought to her by the Commander of the pack who stood behind her.
"Why this, Mistress," he asked,"This farce for the Hellhound. You could have had another created easily. Why try to bring him back?"
She didn't even look at him,"What did I tell you about questioning me?" The Commander swallowed hard, having forgottne his place.
"I'm...I'm sorry, Mistress. Please forgive me," he said quickly. She sighed.
"Norac, Reinos is not the sole reason for this. He is only a pawn, a toy if you will. Besides, there can never be another Reinos, just as there never can be another Theodoric," she said, with a slight sadness tinged in her voice on that last name....

Roxy continued to watch till she quickly got the pattern.
"ok, just follow what I do and go when I tell you to." she bounced on her foot for a bit before going forward into the lasers.
Roxy moved quickly, counting aloud to a beat and moving along with that, ducking or a jump or going forward more.
She eventually made it to the end of the lasers and hopped out, turning back to look at them.
"you guys get that? think you can follow and I can find the way to turn these off, or do you need my help?"
((something I just remembered this Roxy isn't Roxy roxy, it was the demon roxy last in the part that was lost. it really seems like she's been demon for awhile, but it's only been a day or so in RP time. she won't be this way forever, I know when I'm bringin back the regular one.))

Almi squeaked in surprise, but by the time she'd registered that it wasn't Zyphan, her precious guitar was out of her hands and into those of another guard... who seemed intent upon helping them? She didn't quite believe it, especially when she saw those eyes; all she needed to do was reach out and pluck one string while channeling her energy... Wearily, she looked to Zyph, whispering to her 'Do you think we should...?' The young lady was on edge, prepared to unleash all hell at even the slightest notion of something haven gone wrong, but her instincts were calm which usually meant that all was well. Which it wasn't; two of their friends were trapped in that pit out there, and the others had surely run into trouble by now. Was she being lulled into a false sense of security? Nonetheless, she kept herself at the edge, ready and able to let all restraint go should she need too...
He heeded the warning in perfect time; one elbow jabbed back, catching the freak in the jaw and sent him sprawling back... except that he'd caught him around the throat in a backwards grasp with his left, turning his massive body like a single machine as he aimed for the kitsune leaping for the scaley kid, switching tossing hands as he did. His aim remained true; the half-wolfman's body nailed the wench right in the side, knocking her off aim.
This was something he'd lived for, something that was finally making him feel alive after so many years. He could hear her in the background over the roar of the crowd, her faint voice like cooling water poured over the burning coals that were his anger and very soul: "Tayrnom, you have done your task and protected my child for this long. But now, she is in the hands of others capable of protecting her... I see her soon, very soon, changing the foundations of this world along with the others she walks with, shaking it to the furthest depths of Hades itself... If you so wish, the bonds that have held you to her are now yours to do as you will. Please, though, do not repeat the mistakes you once made in the past, so long ago, so that your time with my child has been for nothing..." All of this, passing by him in the span of a second, like a whisper on the wind but with such tangible force that it forced him to stop. Freedom? There is no freedom from the past for me... I am what this world feared not but a decade ago, and has already long forgotten...
That silken voice returned briefly, stating simply "If that is all you see, then your soul will never know rest or peace, even in those last moments... Just know that even if you do not care what your death holds, that she will morn your passing, should it come to that..." Everything spoken, the entire moment, passed within the span of a second, but it carried such meaning that it seemed like an hour to him when he finally snapped back to reality when one of them bit at his leg. Kicking the annoyance away, he could feel himself relaxing... it was time to remind this world what he had been. Stepping back, he planted his feet on the ground, the vibrations shaking the floor around him, and let out a tremendous roar skywards, his very voice making the arena tremble... This game of theirs was going to be cut short today.
*if it ever looks too god-moddy, just tell me. he's supposed to be all hardassed and tanky, but i don't wanna be taking it too far XP*

Scoltun hovered, a bit shocked at the suddent burst of strength from the big man as he threw the wolf at him only to strike another member of the pack who had just reached him and was knocked away at the last possible moment. Scoltun whipped around in the air to face the pack and saw them dispersed. Within a few moments, they had taken up flanking positions around him and the Guardian.
He still didn't attack as he couldn't see a leader. They were acting as if their attacks were coordinated but none of them seemed to be leading the others or no one in the arena anyway. His eyes travelled through the crowd again and this time resting on a pair that stood out clearly in the crowd, a small figure with a rather large guitar and a girl who he immediately recognized as Zyphan. He couldn't look long enough to see the guard coming from behind them as he made up his mind.
If the spectacle didn't become interesting enough, someone was bound to spot them eventually. He quickly went into a dive towards the one closest to him which was greeted by a spontaneous cheer from the crowd. He would give them a show that would give them nightmares, he thought to himself.

(I like what you guys are doing. Nice. Don't kill them though, I got plans for these things that you guys should enjoy. ;D)
Reinos was on the otherside of the arena when he heard that roar, a sound of utter defiance and challenge toward anyone who would answer it...and the wolf within recognized it and wanted to respond. His eyes were glowing blue fiercer than ever, sensing more energy in the arena than he ever had before. Reinos let go of Mierca's hand and dropped to a knee holding one side of his head with his hand. That roar was similar to his own and it had allowed him a brief moment to sense the strongest demonic auras in the Colosseum and now he knew what was there.
"No...this isn't right," he said, shaking his head. "There's no time left, none." He was jabbering for a moment.
He sensed the auras of the pack in the pit and the demon was angry. They were abominations, things that shouldn't be...yet Reinos knew not exactly what they were.
He looked up to Roxy, done with this whole sneaking business.
"We no longer have the luxury of time," he said in a strange voice,"We're getting to that core, NOW!"
His boneblades erupted from his arms and he turned them on the walls, deactivating the beams while elsewhere the Pack was gathering itself together for another attempt on the combatants in the Pit. In moments though, alarms began going off. Reinos wasn't one for patience.
The guard looked to the pit and growled," Fool, I thought he had better sense than to try and bring down the whole Guard on his head."
"Make a choice and quickly, that fool mut just put everyone at risk," he told the girls. He wasn't thinking that Reinos might be afraid...considering that inside this guard slept the ultimate evil.
Ignoring the alarms, two of the pack leapt into the air, trying to bring down the Draconian while the others rushed the Guardian...

Mierca looked a little worried at Reinos when he released her hand and knelt, then stared a moment when he took off. She blinked, then ran after him. "Hey, wait up! What's going on?"

At first, she thought of freezing the guard, but something about him felt different, so she refrained from doing so. "If you will help, then I'll accept. But if anything goes wrong, you'll be frozen for an eternity. Garunteed."
Zyphan glanced out into the pit, and saw Scoltun dive at one of his attackers. She didn't know what he was doing, but she instantly wanted to go out there and help, however insane the idea may be. She turned back, and placed a hand on Almi's shoulder, hoping to calm her and keep her from acting out of accord. She didn't know what the guard had in mind, but since he was willing to help, she was willing to go along with what he suggested. "Is there any way to help them while keeping invisible?"

"oh jeez..." Roxy shook her head, "all my work... Reinos hurry up and do this so we can get outta here!" she yelled him, wanting to cuss him out for being so stupid.

*my turn * Almi heard the alarms from deep within the building, but perked up when the guard seemed to know something about who was in there. Still, she kept quiet and cool, just in case it was a tactic to get her to give away her friends; she might have been young, but Almi wasn't stupid... until she felt the ground shake violently under her feet, throwing her off balance in the process. As she got over landing on her butt, she looked around, surprised by the tremors, as she exclaimed "Wats was that?" Tayrnom pounded his foot into the ground, sending out horrible tremors throughout the arena; cries from the crowd showed that they weren't ready for it, and by the look of the other fighters, neither were they. Taking off with surprising speed, he planted off the head of one freak, aiming a full-on body slam at one of the two that had taken off after the draken kid. Bear-hugging the unlucky wolf-freak, he turned over once, then threw it into the ground before slamming into the titanium-lined wall. Upon landing, he was immediately on his feet as another one came for him. He wasn't quick enough to keep it from biting him, but he did manage to keep it from biting his neck. Grimacing, he shook his arm, trying to get the thing off, finally managing a punch to the face as another one came at him from behind him. These things recovered much too fast for him, and there was no weapons he could use on them... his armor was red for a reason, after all. Elbowing that one which came for his neck from the backside, he turned to the draken, yelling "Hey, can'tcha breathe fire or something? These pests are getting obnoxious."

Scoltun could have avoided the kitsune who was trying to bring him down but he had a better idea to deal with his opponents. He had seen how easily they were recovering from the harsh beating the man was giving them. He tried to grab at the kitsune before she could bite his throat and ended up with his arm in her jaws. She tried to bite down and barely managed to penetrate the skin.
As he was pushed back down towards the ground by her leap, with a few well timed flaps of his wings, he readjusted his position and bent his knees to bring his talons between their bodies. They weren't developed enough to take hold of something yet so he would use the strength in his legs to push her into the ground. As he was about to hit the ground the freak realized what was about to happen and tried to move behind him. Scoltun prepared to use his legs to kick the body of the freak into the ground for more impact but failed as his tail was pulled back by another and he was thrown away, the kitsune landing safely on the ground. He rolled to a stop and was up again in a flash.
He shot a glare at the man when he asked about a power he wished he had now himself. It would have made everything so much easier. He didn't respond and pulled one of the wolf off him before being jumped by the two from before, from behind. He used his tail to lash their backs and got them off only long enough to speak to the man, "Almi, behind me, in the crowd. Move, let me deal..." And that was all he could say before being jumped by three who were now trying to bite through his skin. He really wished the man would not help him now or he would not be able to use the cannons with these three.
