"We're shooting them down as they pass by," Seth said. "How many are still up there?" He looked upward, causing his 'Mech to do the same, and saw another helicopter incoming. His laser hits caused it to spin into the side of the hangar, where a spectacular explosion ripped a hole in the building's metal wall.

Alexander pulled a tight u-turn and brought the Jenner to a stop in a crouching position, facing the Falcon base. He launched a pair of missile volleys at the coordinates he had received, then started aiming at anything firing at the team. "Looks like we won't be bringing any ammo back." Another volley shot out and ripped apart a pair of tanks.

"Ammo's not a concern for some of us," Seth said, allowing himself a brief moment to gloat over his more sensible choice of weapons configuration. This moment of gloating ended abruptly when alarms filled his ears and the mechanical (but somehow seductive) female voice in his cockpit told him, "Critical hit, ER medium laser. Weapon destroyed."
Stravag, Seth thought angrily at the enemy who had shot him in the back. He turned his 'Mech, using jump jets to hasten the process, then fired his remaining lasers at the offending tank, breaking it apart. "You died too quickly," he muttered as those inside the tank were incinerated.

"Psycho this is The Janitor. We're heading back to the hanger for a refuel. I am leaving Dalton and Tom out here to make sure you don't have too much trouble without me." The Janitor said wittily, turning the nose of his plane. When he was locked onto home base, he fired the after burners and headed for a refuel.

"Understood, Janitor," Seth said. "Good luck." Another enemy helicopter exploded overhead, and he jump-jetted backward to avoid the falling debris. He missed the punch his personal 'Mech packed... without a large laser, he wasn't going to do quite as much good.
Alarms blared in his cockpit... he recognized them as a warning of an LRM lock. Cursing, he turned his 'Mech toward the enemy hangar and linked his lasers for simultaneous fire. Blasting a hole in the wall, he jump-jetted through it, damaging his 'Mech on parts of the wall that had remained intact. Missile impacts shook the building as the remaining sections of wall protected him from the brunt of the LRM attack, but he still received some damage from the ones that had gotten through the hole he had made.
He cycled through the targeting information until "Falcon Mad Dog" popped up. "We've got enemy 'Mechs!" he announced over the comm.

"Ah sh**." The Janitor yelled, docked in the hanger. "Kit, load us up on heavy firepower gear! Time to kill us some mechs."
His jet was transformed. The light camera on the front was removed and a precision guidance system was added. The weapons were switched from light vehicle ordinance to large and crowded anti heavy armor rockets, missiles, and bombs. The jet was fueled up, and he was ready.
"We're coming back out. Give us targeting information, and we will try to knock the mech over a few times."

Seth nodded, even though he knew the Janitor couldn't see him, and said, "You heard the man, Trandia. Give him some targeting info." He cycled through his own available targets again... it could have been worse. Mad Dog, Kit Fox, Stormcrow... all fairly light 'Mechs, not capable of taking much of a pounding. Unfortunately for him, they were also all out of his range.
However, the other good thing was that none of those enemy 'Mechs were jump-jet equipped. Seth's 'Mech burst back out of the hangar, put on a huge burst of speed and, before the enemy could adjust their targeting crosshairs, had already strafed the Mad Dog with laser fire. Using his jump jets to move sideways, he continued blasting the enemy 'Mechs, hitting the Stormcrow several times as well.
The enemy started returning fire, and Seth quickly pulled back, using jump jets to hasten the 'Mech's reverse function. Enemy lasers battered the front of his cockpit, and he ducked instinctively. That female voice that was quickly changing from seductive to annoying informed him that another of his lasers had been destroyed. Then, he was out of range of everything except the Mad Dog's LRMs.

"Alright I'm ready, on my way back out." The Janitor informed Psycho team. He was worried about them. He hadn't had a surprise like this in awhile. The last time he remembered having to kill a mech was ages ago, and it was not easy.

"Good," Seth said. "We could use your help." He watched on his monitors as the 'Mechs surged forward; all of them moved at roughly equal speeds, meaning that one wouldn't be coming within range of his lasers before the others. The Mad Dog launched LRMs... his jump jets had just enough fuel left that he could elevate his 'Mech until it was behind an enemy helicopter. The missiles slammed into the chopper, tearing it apart instantly, and Seth let his 'Mech drop back down. The missiles, having locked onto a new target that had already been destroyed, continued on over his head and slammed into the enemy hangar.
If I can run him out of ammo, then we might stand a chance of getting out of here with no losses, Seth thought. Just then, the Kit Fox came within range, and Seth let loose a barrage of laser fire. His targeting display showed that the Kit Fox had received critical hits in a couple of places, but wasn't destroyed. He went into reverse as the Stormcrow returned fire with its large lasers, which dented his cockpit and blew one of his 'Mech's arms off.
He sent a volley back at the Stormcrow, battering at its left leg with continuous laser fire... the leg came off, and the 'Mech stopped moving forward. Seth quickly opened up the throttle, moving his 'Mech forward and placing it slightly behind the Stormcrow. The Kit Fox couldn't target him at all now, and the Mad Dog would have difficulty hitting him (he would have difficulty hitting the Mad Dog as well, but could still fire around the Stormcrow with his remaining arm. He keyed his comm and said, "Vincent, take out that Stormcrow's pilot before he can self-destruct. Leave the 'Mech intact if you can."

I officially announce the death of a RP that I was interested in. Where the hell is GandalfGudith? If he/she was here and posting it would be better.

(well... at least I'm not behind... >.> *directs people to the emotional support board*)
Unloading the last of the missiles, Alexander turned his Jenner around to make the escape. "Psycho, I'm empty. This thing doesn't have lasers. Unless you want me to ram someone..." He eyed some of the odd circuitry in the cockpit. "No MASC though, so not much I could do with it."

"Head back to base," Seth told Alexander. "We'll be coming in right behind you." He saw a blue flash of light penetrate the Stormcrow's cockpit, and the female voice permeated his cockpit once more: "Enemy Mech destroyed."
The 'Mech was still intact, providing Seth with a metal shield around which he could pummel the Mad Dog with laser fire. The Kit Fox was a lost cause at the moment, hidden from Seth as much as he was from it.
The Mad Dog's return fire destroyed one of the lasers in Seth's remaining arm, but he still had some left. He watched on the wire-frame display as portions of the Mad Dog's head and torso went from yellow to red. Then the voice reported another enemy 'Mech destroyed, and the Mad Dog vanished from his targeting display altogether.
"Janitor, the Kit Fox is yours," Seth said into his comm, then he brought his 'Mech around the Stormcrow to prevent the Kit Fox targeting him until the last possible moment. He fired on it once, just to draw its attention away from the rest of his unit, and then turned his back on it and fled. "You're free to blow the base once the Kit Fox is dealt with," he added to the Janitor. It looked like everyone was getting out of dodge, so none of the 'Mechs would sustain significant splash damage if the bombing run occurred now.

Alexander watched his HUD as the Stormcrow and Mad Dag were destroyed. "On it." He continued to speed towards the base.
Alexander slowed the Jenner to a walk as he approached the hangar door. His targeting display said that the entire base was an enemy. Why didn't I hack this part too? He walked into the hangar, the parked the Jenner in an open space. Hopping out of the 'mech, he ran over to the hangar door to wait for the rest of the team.
