After a good night's rest, Connor boarded the earliest flight for Cairo. After he landed, he would have take a car to get to Giza, to meet up with his friend and get to the dig...

Stretching, Joshua stepped out into the hallway. He looked around and decided everyone must still be asleep, so he headed for the cafeteria. The coffee might be terrible, but he needed a cup nontheless.

Hogan was glad to be back. He had enjoyed his hut on the beach in Borneo, but he was ready for something new and exciting. There was always plenty of that at the SGC. He walked to the General's office to find out about their next mission.

Joshua rode on a Jeep into the entrance of Cheyenne Mountain. He was well rested from his vacation and couldn't wait to get back to work. Just a few hours ago, Joshua had been half asleep sitting next to the lake with a fishing pole. He hadn't caught a thing and didn't care. As the Jeep stopped inside the compound he headed for the General's office, finding Hogan waiting in there for him.

"So any bets about our next mission? $20 says we're going somewhere where the natives aren't very friendly." Hogan wondered if he was right. He wouldn't mind a nice easy trip, but it was inevitable that there'd be hostiles where ever they went.

"That's an unfair bet. All our missions are like that." Joshua smirked. He looked toward the General hoping he wasn't right and they'd have a fairly easy mission to get back to work on. The General spoke, "The Azguard have contacted us with information on that ship you stole from the Goa'uld. They said that they can repair it, but they need a device that's apparently located on P-6875. They said we should be the ones to go because we'll be more accustomed to that world's culture that they would be. Oh, and Conner called earlier and said he found something at the dig that may come in handy on the mission. It's a map or something."

"I resent that comment. We did not steal it, we won it in battle. Spoils of war." Hogan was getting that old excitement again. A new culture meant that there were no goa'uld. "A different culture? You mean with no Goa'uld?"

The General continued, "From what we know so far, they are human and share a lot of things with our culture; only that they are about 150 years behind us. They were probably under the control of the Goa'uld at one point but have since been left alone, like us." Joshua was intrigued by this, "So there is another culture similar to ours and not under Goa'uld control?"

Hogan woke up at the mention of 150 years ago. He had always wanted to go to the old west. "So we're gonna be gunslingers for a few days? Sounds great"

"Yes, yes. You'll be in the old west. But this one may be more dangerous than the one that happened here, so watch out." The General handed them both packets of paper containing mission details. "Read over those and be ready to move out at 23:00 hours. The rest of your team should be back in the next few hours, fill them in on the details."

"Josh, you wanna handle that? I'm going to watch all the John Wayne movies I can find." Hogan walked off in search of a VCR and some movies. He wondered if they'd be going in disguise. He looked good in a cowboy hat.

"Wait a second! Why do I get stuck with this?" Joshua asked, a bit peeved. He got a post-it note, scrawled 'read this' on it, stuck it to the folders, and laid them on Conner's desk. "You're not getting movie time unless I get to too." He told Hogan when he found him in the game room with a 'liberated' VCR.

"Fine with me. Grab a chair." Hogan grabbed a movie and put it in. This was going to be a fun mission.

"Wait a second. Popcorn." Joshua rushed off to the cafeteria in search of popcorn.

"Bring me back a cappacino!" Fyren yelled after Josh as he slipped on his mission jacket. He kissed his lucky bracelet as he slipped on his shades.
