Lately I've noticed many of you trying to create rpgs based on video games/movies/books/tv shows that do NOT have boards. You can NOT put these rpgs in the Original Themes board. Original Themes is STRICTLY for rpgs based entirely off of your own settings and ideas. Now, if you want to rp something that doesn't have a board of its own, you MUST go to the Support Board and vote for it. There's a thread in the board labeled "Concerning New RPG Boards" and you can vote for board creation there. Otherwise, you CAN'T play from that theme. NO BOARD, NO RPG. The old members are used to the system and know the reasons for it, but for those of you who are new, here's why:
* It limits the amount of rpgs that die instantly because no one is interested in it. If there's a board for it, that means that at least three people stated that they would rp that theme.
* It keeps things organized. With every theme having its own board, there's no confusion about what the rpg is about, what rules apply, what the appropriate settings are, etc.
* It makes it easy to moderate. With an rpg based on copyrighted and canon material, there are rules that have to be enforced. If an RPG is located in the Matrix board, the moderator knows that any player with a hobbit army landing the Millenium Falcon at Hogwarts probably doesn't belong in that board.
