The guards were rampant, but for some reason they seemed to be a little at ease. The walls were very large, and spiked at the top with some long gangly spires, the largest one looking like it had been broken apart and fixed up many times.
The building itself had many hole's in the sides, it resembles an old keep thats been besieged for a long time, loaded with holes and such in the wallls. Guards were posted at most...except one at the very top of the wall.

Jiira found the hole at the top and quickly climbed through after checking for guards. This had been easier than she thought it would be, she had expected much more from the Black Dragons. Dismissing her disappointment, Jiira quickly started looking around the room, finding many weapons, but not really anything of interest to her.
So she left that room and walked along the long corridors. Whenever she came to an open door with people inside the room, she quickly leapt across the space, landing softly and continueing on her way.
She was very disappointed. Jiira had expected many sentries in the halls, but hadn't found one yet. And there wasn't anything of interest to her in any of the rooms, all weapons or just things she didn't need.
On the occasion she would find gold and of course took it, or any other stray gem, but she didn't find many.
"this place is dull..." she sighed and continued to look around.
But there was a sense of home around it... everyone seemed to be comfortable... everyone at ease... which was why she was able to get in so easily.
Something that confused her was that she didn't find a trace of a woman there... or maybe she had missed something...
That was, she didn't find any trace of women until she found a gorgeous gown in a large room.
The room itself was rather grand, even the doors. She opened large oak doors, not closing them fully as she walked to the gown, looking at the everything on the walls, banners and such.
Then she made it to the gown, feeling the fabric. It felt like silk, and it was the most beautiful gown she had ever seen. Something made for royalty.
It looked like it could fit her, but she didn't dare try it on, too worried of someone finding her. So she just stared at the design.
It was formed so that it was low around the top of the chest, and low on the shoulders, but tight enough to give support in the chest area. Also two lengths of fabric attached to the top of the gown hung over it, obvisouly used to hold the gown up by tieing the two bits of fabric together at the back of the neck. It looked as if it would form well to the curve of a womans hips before it spread out around the legs.
Then the colors were nice. The entire thing was a lovely shade of violet, and around the bottom of the gown, there was a thin black lace.
It was gorgeous...
Jiira circled the gown until something else caught her eye... a painting.
With one last glance at the gown, she walked over to the painting to see that it was a family portrait.
A family of 3 Ajjits. A beautiful mother and wife, a handsome father and husband, both wearing crowns, so Jiira assumed that they were royalty...
Then Jiira saw the third member of the family...
A girl with purple fur... who looked exactly like Jiira.
Jiira's eyes widened as she looked at the girl, resting her hand gently on the princess.

"She looks just like you...y'know that Jiira?" Kross say's from the corner, chuckling a bit as he steps forward a bit.

Jiira jumped, gasping as she pulled her hand away from the portrait. "y-yeah... I noticed that..." she steadied her beating heart and looked over at Kross.

Kross laughed a bit. "That gown was meant for the princess...but she...I failed to protect her..." He say's with a smile, laying a hand on Jiira's shoulder and looking past her, at the portrait. "Y'see...I was the only one who survived the disasterous mission that day...her carriage was destroyed by a mage's magical fireball...and she died in my arms..."

"I'm uh... I'm sorry to hear that..." she didn't know what to say, just meeting the man yesterday. Jiira looked at the gown for a brief second before looking back at the princess in the portrait. "what was her name?"
((lol if the parents named both children, probably Kiira or something with a 'J'... cause parents are weird when it comes to twins, wanting similar names most times, lol))

"She was...Kiira...I believe..." He say's looking down at her with a goofy grin. "And, if you don't mind me saying, I think you'd be very lovely in that gown..." He removed his hand from her shoulder and walked over to it, running his fingers along the bodice before moving near the door and leaning up against the frame.

She blushed, "um... thanks..." Jiira wasn't sure what to say, following Kross with her eyes. But she found it strange that her and the princess' name were so similar.

"So hey...why don't you try it on?" He said with a laugh, grinning over at Jiira. "Nah...you don't have to...but I what I was wonder was why you came here...why you broke into my keep to snoop around? I've been watching you for a while now...you can keep what you've taken...but I'd like to know your answer to my question..."

"I wanted to see the security of this place in general... but now I can't really trust what I once thought seeing as you just said you were watching me without me even knowing..."

"You can trust what you saw...my guards are alway's on alert. They told me the moment you approached the Keep. Never judge a book by its cover M'lady..." He say's with a wink, pushing himself off of the wall with a kick of his foot.
"Honestly though...I need your answer..."

Kross smiled, pulling a small pendant out of his pocket and hold it out to her. It was a silver chain with a Black Dragon hanging on it, it had rubies for eye's and silver running along its back. "You can't sell it so don't try....its our emblem...marking you as a member."
