The sun shone brightly through the many windows lining the Adventurer's guild, illuminating its massive stone halls, and its awesome granite towers. It was a Guild Hall only a mighty magic-user could have built, the three towers- one of grey, one of black and one of white -in perfect alignment, all equal in a perfect symetrical triangle along the building.
Danica quietly made her way through the hall's, the only sounds she made were the rustling of her robes in her wake. Slowly, the money ran one of her pale ivory hands through her deep blue-black hair, pinning it behind one of her ears. Her dainty and frail curvy figure emphasized by the purest white robes adorned on her body.
Turning a corner, she bumped into someone by mistake. "Oh...pardon me..." She said, her voice coming through her cherry-rep lips. She has a quiet and sweet-sounding voice that was pleasant to hear, a rarity amongst the monks and clerics here at the Guild.

Damien rounded a corner too fast, bumping, to his embarrasment into a girl, who, of course, was the prettiest he had seen since arriving. He managed to get out, "Sorry, my fault." She wore robes, was she a monk? Praying silently to his patron goddess, he said aloud, "My name is Damien Quinn," and offered a sun tanned hand.

"Danica Williams..." She said, taking his hand in her light and frail grasp and giving it a soft shake, quickly slipping from his grasp and folding her hands in front of her lap she bowed. "I must be going...pardon me..." She said, before walking around him, setting a very swift pace as she went, and heading down the hall toward her destination.

Damien ran a hand through his hair, trying to think of a reason to talk to her. "Wait!" He jogged, catching up to her. "I just got here, I'm trying to join the Guild, could you help me with that?"

At the end of the hall Danica was walking in, a swift turn changed it's direction. From this corner, came an Elf. The Elf was obviously male. Long black hair rested on his shoulders and upper back. The points of his ears were barely visible through the hair. He was draped with a long black cloak that covered the black robes underneath. On his back, a dark grey cloth quiver held black feathered arrows. The ends pointed over his right shoulder. The ends of a long bow stuck out from over his right shoulder and under his left hip. Black leather boots silently touched the floor with each of his steps. Deep green eyes focused in on the two students.
He himself was a student. The Elf was actually well known for his marksmanship along the school. Rumours spread that he had dead aim, unmatched speed, and the sight of an eagle. None of them were true but he was working on them. He didn't need speed or dead aim. The sight of an Eagle however, would be the most valuable if he mastered them. The rumours were probably started by jealous or groupie students anyway. Everything they said was toxic.
The two students became more defined as he neared them. He was actually quite friendly, though his appearance said otherwise. He didn't even like being well known in the school. Fame caused too much trouble and stress. He couldn't wait until he graduated as a full fledged archer.

The elven evoker, Faelar Tarnruth, was wandering aimlessly around the halls of the guild. He was filled with anxiety and seemed to wander often nowadays. Faelar is now an accomplished wizard and just wants to get out on the road. He has been couped up too long inside the guild studying and practicing. Now the evoker wants to test out his skills on a real foe and not a heavily enchanted teacher or some combat dummy.
The wizard decided to get a quick snack, then go into his room and practice a few more experiments on the dagger he had crafted, so Faelar strolled on down to the guild mess hall.

Danica stoped suddenly, caught between her friend and this Damien fellow. She ran an ivory hand through her soft blue-black locks for a moment, pondering about her next course of action. Smiling at the Elf she quickly thought up an Excuse to pass on the burden to him, offering him a sincere look of earnest appology first.
"Sorry Damien...but alas I am to bust at the moment..." She said, stopping to pause only breifly before continueing, "However my friend here-" She made a quick gesture to the Elf, "-can help you out...I must be going now..." She said, swiftly walking around the elf and dashing down the next hall, effectively dissappearing.

Damien frowned and sighed, looking to the elf. "Tell me truthfully, is she really busy, or was she just trying to get rid of me?"

The Elf's deep green eyes focused on Damien's eyes. He was new, very new. Probably a wanting too be a monk of some sort. The Elf studied Damien through the new students eyes. A smirk spread across the Elf's smooth skinned face. Should he tell him? Would it be mean to tell him? Would he even care what the Elf said? Thoughts raced through the Elf's mind. Not finding the right words to say, he opened his mouth slightly. Through the slit, a young, smooth, and firm voice emitted.
I'm sure she has something to do, whether it be to get rid of you or not.
A thought suddenly struck the Elf's mind. Was this kid even a student yet!?
From the way you look, you haven't joined the guild yet have you? Talk to the guild master, down the hall I came from. It's the last door, and it's made of a luminous stone.
He began to turn, and walk down the hall that he just told Damien to go through. How ever, the Elf's motives were much different than Damien's were. First, he needed to find his friend. He was graduating very soon. No one knew but he himself. He needed to tell her, however hard it may be. Before he turned the corner, he turned his head towards Damien.
Life here is hard. They will break you, if you aren't careful. Mage schooling is the worst of all the classes. The benefits however, are worth it.
With that he vanished down the hall and followed his friend.

Danica's long hair whipped about as she walked, her robes swishing with her foot-fall's, which were soft and barely audiable to most races, except probably elves or gnomes. As she turned another corner she ducked into a small dark niche, doing a split to keep herself hidden within it's walls.
Sighing, she moved a whisp of hair from her face, "Why does every new student come to me for help..." She asked, looking down at the prefect markings on the lapel's of her robes.

With a smile Danica dropped from her hiding spot and ran up to Skif, tackle-hugging him as she did so. "Were have you been?" She asked, giggling a bit as she burried the side of her face in his chest. "Feel's like its been at least a week since last we parted..."

Turning the corner quickly, the Elf's cloak waved to the left. As he began to swiftly walk forward towards the two, the cloak fell around his body. It hid the robes underneath. His black leather boots silently scuffed over the stone floor. His hidden deep green eyes fixed on the two. He had a habit of looking dreadful. The Elf didn't know why. Maybe it was something in his blood? Who knew? The Elf stopped, ten paces from the two. One in dark clothing, the other in light. He thought for a moment to himself. Then with out any delay in any of his movements, he slipped into darkness. He circled the two and made his way down the hall. At the end of the hall, when another curve twisted towards his quarters, he flicked a small folded peice of parchment. It slid across the floor but stopped. It was visible, it was ment to be. Before anything else could happen, the Elf disappeared down the hall.
The note read:
Departure is among the innocent, which have no reason to depart. Worlds out beyond thy walls, shan't fail to surprise its new visiter. One less leaves the guild, one more enters the world.
Hopefully, they'd get what he had written. He would be gone soon, but for now, he'd keep out of site for a while.

"Oh...were did you go?" She asked, looking up into his eye's with a bright and warm smile. "I hope it wasn't to 'aquire' anything for that master of yours....he's always having you do evil things like stealing...pfft..."

Danica blinked when she saw the necklace and quickly snatched it back, sticking her tongue out as she stepped backward a bit and put it back on. "Oh...well as long as it wasn't anything to bad...theres something I'd like you to do with me tonight...I...wasn't sure if you would do it though..." She say's, shyly turning around and figiting with her necklace.

"Well...you see...there's this dance tonight...and I was wondering if you'd go with me..." Danica asked, turning around. Her pale face was flush as she smiled at Skif, her eye's closed a bit in her usual fashion.
