Errandir guided his horse slowly into the tent city of Bildoobaris. Drawing his hood down low over his face, the druid got off his steed outside a large tent that obviously served as an inn. Whispering a few words to his mount, he walked inside, going over to the innkeeper. After arragning for a bed for the night, he left the inn, looking for a place he could find a guide. He was uncomfortable being around so many people, and wanted to get away as soon as he could. The Trade Fair would last another 9 days, but he didn't intend on staying for all of them. As soon as he arranged a guide to lead him to Sossal, he would be away. Glancing up at the sky for Kyree, he began to walk around the 'city', trying to find somone who looked like a candidate to be a guide.

*Tehya rode up to the temporary city of tents on the back of her palomino mare. A few strands of her ebony hair had fallen loose from her long braid to hang into her face after racing across the plains. She stopped at the edge of Bildoobaris, dismounting. She took her horse by the reins, leading her through the maze of tents in search of her brother. She'd been out riding for quite some time today, as the crowded fair was never her sort of thing. While it was interesting to see all of the different people from both other tribes and other lands, she preferred a more simple and quiet atmosphere. Her eyes flickered from tent to tent as she walked in silence.*

Errandir quickly grew overwhelmed by sheer number of people. Feeling slightly dizzy, he wandered over to a shady spot, away from the crowds, and sat down. Drawing deep breahths, he managed to calm down, taking a sip from a flask of water to cool himself. He noticed he was not alone, seeing a man who looked like a local standing a short distance away, evidently waiting for someone.

*After a few minutes of searching, Tehya finally spotted her brother, somewhat separated from the trading crowd. She made her way toward the shady area where he stood, a dazzling smile gracing her lips.*
"There you are... What took you so long?"
"It's good to see you too, Hakan." *She shook her head lightly, releasing the reins of her mare.* "I was enjoying the day. I didn't see the point in rushing to get here. You know that I would much rather avoid this place entirely."
"While I'm here, you should be here too. It's not safe for you to be alone."
*Tehya sighed softly, her smile fading.* "Don't do this again. I'm perfectly capable of handling myself, brother. Forget the subject and tell me how the fair is going... No trouble I hope?" *Hakan narrowed his eyes slightly at his sister, but he decided to drop the argument for the time being and give her the details of the trading so far...*

Errandir sat in silence, only partially listening to the conversation. He decided that, after they were done talking, he would ask one of them where he could find a guide. Listening while the mand described the fair, he made mental notes on where to find anything he would need. Taking another sip of water, he sat down more comfortably, seeing that this was going to take a while.

*Tehya halfway listened to her brother, her mind wandering now and then. All of this business bored her, but she would do nearly anything to appease Hakan. He was far too protective of her and had been for years now, especially after she reached a marrying age. He never left her alone and never let other men near her. After all, she was pretty much all that he had. As Hakan rambled on, Tehya's eyes flickered toward a man that she had only just noticed, sitting nearby. He was definitely an outsider, and if that wasn't enough reason to be cautious, he seemed to be alone and listening to their conversation. She looked away from him, trying not to draw her brother's attention to him. If Hakan realized that a male outsider was paying them some attention, he was sure to get defensive. After what seemed like forever, Hakan was finally called away by some of the other men from the tribe. He looked to his sister, his eyes warning her more than his words.*
"Stay away from the outsiders and don't draw any attention to yourself. The last thing I need is you getting into some sort of trouble."
*Tehya sighed and nodded reluctantly, watching as her brother jogged off.*

After the man had left, Errandir stood up slowly. He thought he had seen the woman glance at him while she was talking, but he didn't want to startle her if she hadn't. "Excuse me, milady, but would you know where an outlander could hire a guide?"

*Tehya eyed the man suspiciously, hesitant to speak with him. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure that her brother was truly gone. Even then, she kept her voice soft.* "Finding someone here who is willing to guide an outsider is a difficult task indeed... if not impossible. Where are you traveling to?"

Errandir lowered his voice to the same volume. "I seek a guide to the land of Sossal, in order to train with the druids of that land. Do you know of any who might know the way?"

*Black wings carried the frail girl in from the northern skies, she guided her griffon down in the thermal she had jsut risen on. The griffon flew smoothly, and swiftly in the sky diving into and out of a cloud. The cloud's burth flowed with the tips of the creature's wings, and continued on with the girl's body as it dove down toward a collection of tents.*
"Horushi...let's land here and hope it takes Kaz a little while to cacth up with us this time!"
*She whispered to the griffon, as he dove down in a spiral, making acrobatic movements in the air. She brought the dark creature down just outside the tents, catching sight of a female and a male chatting nearby. As Horushi reared back with the landing, Geneveive hopped off the careful, loving, and willing creature she called her steed. She patted the creature gently on the side of its head and lead him towards the tents by the reigns.*

Kaz rode swiftly to catch up to Geneveive he estimated it wouldn't take him much longer to reach where she had landed. I hope nothing happens until I get there. he thought to himself knowing that if anything happend he would feel the fury of her father.

*Tehya thought about it for a moment, wondering how to reply. She knew that none of the men in her tribe would be anxious to help an outsider... And most of the other tribes were even more hostile toward them than hers. If this man wanted a guide, there was only one person she could think of that might be willing... Her brother would beat her senseless if he knew that she was even considering this. Still, this might be a chance to get out from under his hand and do something on her own for once... She yearned for a bit of freedom, no matter how brief it might be. She also wanted to prove that she could be useful...* "We can't talk here... See that hill to the east? Meet me behind it where no one here can see us. We'll discuss it there."

Errandir nodded. "I shall be there at sundown." With that, he turned away. He was so absorbed in his conversation and the woman he had talked to that he was not watching where he was going, and almost walked into an elf-woman leading a griffon. Stumbling a bit, he bowed in apology.

"Oh! My fault sir...I should have been looking were I was going."
*Genevieve bowed, smiling warmly. She of course, was willing to help this man out if she could as an appology. She didnt know how to offer it though, so she did her best.*
"My name is Genevieve...its uh..nice to meet you kind sir..."
*She offered her greeting, hoping it would break the man's resolve and he would answer her back.*

Errandir smiled back. "Why, it is my privilege to meet one who rides such a noble beast as a griffon. I... have a weakness for all flying animals."
