Allistaire engaged his thrusters and screamed in his head's direction out of the way of the beams. "Target the turrets for now," he called over his comm device. "Open heavy grade firepower." He didn't have any heavy grade power to speak of at the moment; Allistaire was waiting for his rail gun to reach maximum capacity so he could open fire on the ships main engines. He did return fire with his beam rifle though.

" You heard the man John," Sara said. " You've got the big gun, make use of it." " Engaging," John replied calmly, the heavy beam cannon that rested over his MS's shoulder sliding into firing position. The weapon had it's own generator strapped to the mobile suit's back, and it glowed for a moment with the building charge, until a beam of brillent energy lept from the weapon. The shot hit one of the ship turrets, burning through heavy armor. The turret's motion became erratic and jerky, but it still fired back. A blast five times as wide and fifty times more powerful. It was like a tiny swarm of biting flies trying to take on a person. They could hurt the giant ship, but only slowly, tiny bit by tiny bit. It would only take a near miss by the ship to swat one of them down. " Anyone else feel like hitching a ride?" Aras asked, dodging as widely as everyone else to avoid the beam blasts. If they could get close enough, land on the ship's hull, then the craft's weapons would be useless against them, and with the OSSF own MS out fighting the UESA suits, there would be nothing they could do to get them off.

"Yeah, you look a little beat up there." Jehanna said to Jake as she rendezvoused with her comrades. Being the only one of the three not to have engaged in direct combat, she was probably in the best condition of them. To Lira she said, "So, what do we do now?"

Lira scanned the battle, her mind shooting into overdrive as she stretched her awareness out to watch the entire engagement at once. " There," she said, shooting a location marker to her team mates. " We take care of them." She had highlighted a group of three suits, working together expertly to ravage the UESA MS. " Break them up and ruin their team work, and this battle will be ours."

"Got it." Jenna said. She wondered what the best way to face the enemy MS would be. They seemed tough, no matter how she looked at it. "Should we each take one on separately or stick together?"

"...separately," Lira decided after a moment. " They fight as a team, not as individuals, I can see it in their movements, and in their equipment." It was the weapon layout of the enemy suits that decided her. The bulky red suit with the extra power generator was clearly the group's mobile shield, armed with only a beam pistol, but carrying a sturdy shield that had a beam shield projecting from it, creating a double layer of defense to hide behind. The smaller blue mobile suit provided close range offense, darting behind the slower red suit for cover before popping out to jab with it's beam glaive. The yellow suit was also hiding behind the red, but it didn't need to expose itself at all, a small swarm of funnels darting to and from the suit, moving out at angles to herd enemy mobile suits. " I've got the red one," Lira called. " I'll take away their cover, and you two blast them while they're stuck in the open." She took off towards the group, dumping power from her beam saber into the thruster. They saw her coming, and the yellow MS's funnels turned to fire, beam shots striking her shield. One shot glanced her leg, and then she was on top of the large red mobile suit, their shields crashing together, sending them spinning. Before they could fly apart, Lira reached out, and snagged the enemy suit by the power generator on it's back, pulling it along with her in a fast tumble.

Allistaire was busy dodging fire from the OSSF ship. His rail gun was 30 percent charged. "Just keep them off of me for a couple of minutes, then I can fry the engine," he said over his comm device. He returned a hail of fire from his beam rifle. He saw the ensuing battle from a distance. "Hey, looks like those UESA motherf**kers can handle themselves alright...for rookies. If they get out of this without any casualties, I might be impressed."

"How long till those engines are disabled?" Jake asked to his comrades. He was tired of getting shot at by two different sets of guns. From the ship and the army of ms they were fighting.

The twins' matching mobile suits streaked by Allistaire, weaving in a complicated pattern to throw off shots directed their way. " We're leaving John to babysit you," Aras said. " We're going to go buzz the bridge and see if we can get their attention on us so you can sneak up behind them and knock out their legs," Sara added. " Go luck," they spoke in unison, changing course for the front of the massive ship.
" Depends on how long those Lanchester wannabe pilots take to get their act together," Lira answered, trying to batter her way around her adversary's shield as the enemy MS tried to turn her and give his team mate's a clear shot. " Now are you going to float there flapping your gums, or do you plan to take your share of the action?"

Watching as the Twins' suits shot off towards the OSSF ship, Allistaire couldn't help a smirk. He let off of his thrusters steadily, and allowed the ship to pass him by. His rail gun reached 100% capacity. "Brace for impact, you two," he said.
The gun fired a supercharged bolt of plasma into the OSSF ship's thrusters. The force of the shot was such that Allistaire had to engage his thrusters to maintain a good lock. The ship's engines superheated, then the thrusters crumpled under the unyielding heat of the plasma. The ship visibly lurched, and was now nothing more than a drifting hunk of metal. "Okay, do what you do best, ladies," Allistaire said.

" Now?" Aras asked with a smile in her tone. " Allistaire, this hardly seems like an appropriate time to..." " He means hit the bridge smartass," Sara interrupted. " Oh, right." The twins dodged a final volley of cannon fire and landed right on the hull of the OSSF ship, clinging to it's surface with electro-magnets imbedded in their feet for just that use. They had only managed a few steps though, when the ship's manuevering thrusters kicked the craft sideways, turning it nose first towards the earth, and it began to gather speed even with the loss of it's main engines. " The captain of this barge is nuts, they'll hit the outer atmosphere at this angle," Aras said. " Which might be the point," Sara said. " This hulk can take a bit of heat, I don't think we'll be as lucky."

Having trouble deciding which opponent MS to take on, Jehanna was a little further behind Lira than was preferable. "The yellow one is mine, then." She chirped, sounding more lively than she had seconds before.
Setting herself on a elliptical course around her target so that she would get closer without heading at it straight on, Jehanna started trying to pick off the funnels around it with her rifle. The battle would be easier without them in the way.

"Lets see what we can do here..." Jake said, targetting the three mobile suits. "Seems they like to pile on one. Lets see if we cant get a peon to get in there, and ambush them..."

The lights of Black Death's cockpit came on. The faint crimson glow sparkled in Claude Alain's eyes. The long distance carrier pod had arrived at its destination. Though it seemed to be a little early. Claude sank back into his chair, allowing the receivers to connect. Before the main connector went in, he fastened his helmet. If he used any video communications he didn't want others to see his face just yet. The helmet, which looked almost identical to his Mobile Suit's head, was much more menacing.
Slipping into Black Death's perceptions, Claude tapped into the sensors of the carrier pod. "Looks like they botched it again..." he said to himself. "Alright, B.D., let's get this over with" he said to his MS. The carrier pod split itself in half, letting Black Death out into the void. It was equipped with space thrusters as the rest of his gear was waiting for him on the Lanchester Empire vessel. He had just finished a raid on some OSSF forces.
Claude surveyed the battle quickly. It was going well for the UESA, but not nearly so well for the OSSF. As usual, the Lanchester forces had ditched the main group to make a tactical strike. Triggering the carrier pod's self destruct mechanism, Claude launched himself forward at an angle so the blast of the pod would draw attention away from him. He then rocketed towards the battle, beam rifle at the ready.

Jehanna's first shot took the yellow suit unaware, and a funnel eploded into shrapnal. The pilot quickly responded though, half a dozen of it's mobile weapons turning in unison to fire at their attacker in a barage of beam blasts.
The blue MS, seeing it's comrades engaged and their team work scattered, targeted in on Jake, flipping it's beam glaive around so the butt end of the weapon faced him. It fired a beam rifle shot, revealing it was more than just a melee weapon.
The red suit had managed to shake Lira off, and was keeping her at bay with it's shield, with was proving to be inpentrable to her attacks, even against the power of her enhanced beam saber. The enemy mobile suit wasn't having much more luck against her though, it's small beam pistol insufficent to pierce her own shield, leading to a standing stalemate between them.
Irous kicked the ruined scrap metal that had been an UESA MS away, yanking his heat rod violently out of the remains. The coiling, whip like weapon snaked back into the right arm of his suit, and he turned to reguard the battle. Despite all his kills, the OSSF was losing the battle, and it was looking worse and worse by the minute. Their ship was hit, and the captain taking a desperate gamble to try and save the vessel, and their numbers were dwindling. And he had yet to meet anyone of skill to fight, all his kills had been so easy, he was bored. An explosion just outside the battlefield caught his eye. He almost disregarded it, but he felt something, an awareness moving away from the blast...a late arrival. He turned his sensors in that direction, and saw the newcomer. Maybe this could be the challenge he want? His suit folded and twisted, the arms and legs tucking into the body, transforming the MS into it's flight mode, blasting off towards Claude. He crossed the distance quickly, the wedge shape of his transformed suit hurtling like an arrow head at his target. Along the leading edges, beam shielding flared, and the craft plunged on a ramming course.
