Dorothy nods, but otherwise ignores the comment. Titles were more important than names... "So this is where you live?" She doesn't use the name or a title, opting out until she can call her a proper designation.
The light didn't phase her at all- since she was an advanced machine after all -but the sense of entering a new area within the cave complex was quite alluring. In fact, the energy source she had detected had come from this very location. She smiled, "You are a crafty one..." Mistress...

Chaser said nothing in responce, but dialed in the code to open the second door, making sure only she could see the touchpad as she did so. Unlike many, it made no beeping; she never could understand why that was so commonplace, she'd always thought it was rather annoying. All othe functions proved to be running properly when the second door slid open, at last revealing Nyx's lab and home.
The light was brighter, though none shined toward the door. Instead, all of the lights in use hung above a number of rows of plants. To actually walk into the area was almost like walking into a jungle rather than a cave; the place was much larger and more open than the tunnels, held up by numerous pillars. Plants were everywhere, all sorts, many of them separated into smaller groups, even sectioned off by thin plastic tents, and tubing ran through the entire place for watering. The place was also very noticably warmer and more humid than the tunnels, thanks to the many lights immitating sunlight and all the plants.
Beyond the plants, but presently blocked by them, was an area set off from the plants. It served as her bedroom, kitchen, lab, and bathroom; everything needed and a few extra things, although some things weren't designed like normal, whether she'd found it in the black market or figured it out on her own.
"Well," she said, "this is where I live." Chaser turned to Dorothy. "Now would be a good time to erase your memory of how to get here."

"It was done when we passed through the entrance..." Dorothy says as she looks around at the various lifeforms in the room... utterly amazed at the growth of the plants. "Your home is amazing mi- Chaser. How did you manage to harbor such growth in this imaculate examples of organic life?"
And shes moving forward to touch a leaf with her synthetic hand, "They feel interesting as well..."

"Careful what you touch. Some plants don't respond well, and some can cause problems," Chaser said, eyeing the android's hand. At least it looked like she was gentle about it, and that particular plant was both sturdy and harmless. Just a few rows down, though, were a number of poisonous plants, placed in part as a bit of a small trap if anyone without such knowledge were to somehow make it into her sanctum.
Just as she'd pushed her goggles up, Nyx now moved the mask over her mouth and nose down, a slight smile on her face and the pleasant scents of numerous plants filled her nostrils. She reached out to touch a bit of hanging vine, raising it slightly as she did so. "Plants are what I know," she said softly, displaying a side of herself that no person had seen in years. "There are many wonderful things about plants... There have been studies that even suggest plants are as alive and aware as any other creature, despite the lack of neural tissue." It was something she had often thought about, living by herself. She lived alone, but she didn't often feel lonely; not with her plants.
She pushed that aside and continued on through the plants, though. She still had things to do, like put away Dorothy's weapon and test her blood for any sort of toxins.

Dorothy nodded and smiled, "Ah... they are quite alive..." She says with a grin, "I can see movement within them that mocks the movement of your fluids through your own vascular system, they also seem to have their own personalities..." She smiles as she lets go of the leaf... no touching anything else.
Then her eyes fall onto Nyx's hand, the one that had been used to syphon the blood into her own mechanical body. "Your hand has been wounded recently, probably by the machines that held me prisoner..." She frowns visibly, "May I please help you?"

"No need," Chaser said, not even bothering to look back. "It was that machine, but at least it seems to have done a decent job of cauterizing. I heal pretty quick, anyway, just a little sensitive. All I need is a little blood test, and I'd rather run than myself."
She continued on to the living area, first stowing the pistol away in a safe and then taking a device that looked something like a gun from a nearby counter. She loaded it with a tiny empty glass cartridge, held it to her arm, and squeezed the trigger. It made a small noise like a pressurized clicking, and a moment later Chaser pulled the now filled cartirdge back out and pushed it into a computer for analisys.
"It'll take a little while now... thing's going to check my blood for anything that could possibly cause me harm." She stuck a small bandage over the tiny hole that had been left in her flesh, then reached into the pouch at her hip, pulled out one her special chews, and stuck it in her mouth. Just in case.

"Oh... well, if you gave it to me my Bio-sensors could scan it far quicker then your own analytical equipment mis- Chaser." She smiles and bows her head, "After all I am in your debt for rescueing me..." With that she sits and waits for som sort of order from my new found mistress... not really knowing exactly what to do with herself at the moment. Lacking direction stinks for a android.

"I don't know how reliable that might be - no offence." She didn't bother correcting Dorothy about the debt; whereas Nyx had only accidently activated Dorothy, the android had purposely made very effective efforts at keeping the woman out of harm's way. But hey, if the thing wanted to think it owed her, Chaser didn't mind getting a free favor.
"If you want, you can listen to the radio," she said, gesturing over to a small radio with an oversized antenna attatched to it. "The plants react well to soft music."

"Oh?" And shes walking over to said device and taking a seat in front of it, smiling and clapping her hands together. "Oh joy of joys... it can talk to me!" She grins wide and leans forward, the amulet around her neck dangling near it and flashing blue quickly. "Oh really? Thats quite interesting.... Yes... Oh no, I'm not tha bad... yeah, I've me the mistress...she seems quite nice... oh really?" Dorothy looks back at the plants, "I didn't know that about plants... you seem to know alot... yeah... no.... What's your name again? Sony? Oh... right."

Nyx watched Dorothy and raised an eyebrow. She could understand the android mistaking the radio as talking to her if she had actually turned it on, but she hadn't. After watching for a moment though, the woman shrugged it off and wandered over to a chair to lounge for a bit. She didn't completely ignore the android, of course; she still didn't fully trust it to be harmless, and she was also wary of troubles it might cause even unintentionally.
It was strange, having another human-like thing in her cave. Stranger still to think about how the machine seemed to much to want to call her mother, insisted Nyx had given it life, even risked its life for her. Huh, a machine with a life... Now there's a concept, she thought to herself. I've never heard of an AI saying such things.
"You're one weird little machine, you now that, Dorothy?"

Dorothy nodded to the radio and looked back over at Nyx, tilting her head to the side. "Why do you say that Chaser?" She asked simply, blinking a few times before giving the radio and sidelong glance again.
Not positive who o focus her attention on, Dorothy kept her gaze on Nyx, just incase.

"Well, for one, you're talking to a one-way radio that's turned off," Chaser said, a slight smirk on her face. Vaguely she heard one of automated sprinklers start up for a section of plants, but that was something she had long since ceased to pay much attention to; only something to bother about if they didn't start up. "Second, your behavior reminds me more of a child than of any sort of robot-type."

"Well... Mr. Radio is talking back to me..." She says with a grin, "And I do not understand your comparing me to a child Chaser... well... I gess I do sort of understand why... all this seems new to me." And then she schooches to face Nyx fully, a smile wide on her lips. "I'd like to thankyou again for giving me life... and consequentially saving me from that tormentous existence."

To Nyx, that just made Dorothy seem all the more childlike - a kid with an imaginary friend. She supposed there was some possibility the the android was able to pick some sort of signal up from the radio, but she couldn't fathom there being anything actually intelligent in the radio.
She waved her hand dismissively at the life saving thing. "Don't mention it. Really."
A glance over toward the machine testing her blood showed it to be nearing completion. Nyx doubted there was anything wrong; even if there was, it wasn't likely to but anything or enough to actually cause any harm. Good thing, too, she had to go on another market run soon, likely the next day.

((Did you check out Battle Royale?))
Dorothy smiled, "Though I wish you'd let me call you mother or mistress...because that is what you are... do you have anything I could help with?" And she is shooting the Radio another glance, before looking back at Nyx. She taps her fingers impatiently for a few moments, before turning herself back towards the Radio.
