Esariel fell into line next to Adrian and said, "I don't much care for full-blooded demons, but some of your lot seem all right. I fought alongside your parents, although I assumed they were simply angels of a foreign type I had not seen before. They were good people. Their son deserves the benefit of the doubt." He nodded to himself, almost as if making the decision while he spoke. Sword already in hand, it could not have been more clear that he was offering Kyra his protection as well.

"Well, actually my mother was a full demon and my father was half demon and half human" Adrian said to Esariel. "You're the first angel I've met though." He looked over to Kyra as she said she was driving. "I figured as much Dr. Jennings. But don't worry, we can all keep up. Well, I know I can, and this angel can, and the werewolf can, so it's up to you and...was it Miss Scarlet?... to take the car." He turned back to the angel with a big grin on his face. "So hot stuff, how 'bout a race? I haven't stretched my wings in a while. Start when Dr. Jennings gets the car past...say...that rock there?" He pointed to a piece of rubble on the street that was close to the exit of town. There wasn't any other rubble beyond it that a car couldn't simply go right over, so Kyra would be able to get the car going pretty quick after passing it.

Kyra stayed silent, trying to make sense of this madness that seemed to befall her. Cavalier's intentions seemed straightforward enough. A hitman with a role reversal complex. This werewolf, Louie... He took it upon himself to warn the rest of danger, to fend off threats. Adrian with his almost naively noble intentions and the well spoken angel who offered up his guard to her. Her mind yelled out in protest, the pieces just didn't fit together and that was unacceptable to the learned woman. She was not some magical being and she didn't have any secrets to help with such illogical goings-ons. She was a businesswoman and an engineer. She knew of metals and chemicals, of reactions and formulas. That was all.
She didn't speed up, as was recommended. She stayed at her steady pace (perhaps perceived as slow by those of taller stature), only keeping up with the mercenary in the suit. She was still untrusting of the others, even though it was the human that had the shadiest of intentions.

Xavier cracked his neck and drew his pistol casually. "Never wanna be caught unaware when vampires are around, miss," he said in an almost sing-songy tone. "So we're seriously going to walk?"
He could see the lights of Atlanta from where they were, but walking was still a hassle when there was a car present. Between that and his Yamaha...
"Well, you can walk, but my bike cost me a pretty penny, and I'm sure as hell not leaving it here." He trotted back behind the store he had originally come from, and in a moment returned on a black Yamaha crotch rocket. "Room for one more," he said to Kyra.

The woman jumped a bit at the roar of the motorcycle's engine came close to her, a hand flying up to protect her face from the dirt that assaulted it. Blinking heavily for a moment, her eyes passed over the vehicle, a smile slowly turning her mouth upward. "Well now. Thats much more subtle..." Truthfully it didn't strike her as such. A bike was louder and offered less protection than the dark car that had brought her there. However she had a sinking paranoia weighing on her. If so many had met her in this place, perhaps even less savory sorts were expecting her. If they were expecting her they probably know of that rental car registered under her company name. The make, model, color, plate... Generally one wouldn't expect the professional woman dancing around the event horizon of middle age to be perched on the back of a bike.
"Hopefully you're a better driver than my ex." Kyra took a few steps at a joggers pace before setting a foot on some projectile she didn't pay attention to and slung the opposite leg over the seat, locking her knees against the cushioning and pinning her heels on some non-moving components.

"Watch your leg on the muffler," he said, "wouldn't want you to burn it." He twisted the throttle of the bike and threw dirt and rock behind them as the bike hurdled forward on the road. Dark was fast approaching, and he highly doubted his bike could outrun any vampires.

"I'm a mechanic, I don't think I'd be so thoughtless as to get near to a-" the sentence was interrupted by an impolite explicative as the surprise take off prodded Kyra to grip at the sides of Xavier's coat to prevent from falling backwards off the machine. "God d**n!" She hissed, her forehead colliding hard with the man's shoulder as she thrust her body forward as a counterbalance. "Next time warn me if you're going to take off that fast!" She tried to raise her voice above the whirring engine. Honestly she was more concerned with making time than the blood-suckers prophesied to show up, especially now that she was developing a headache from the impact and she was without aspirin.

"Finally!" Adrian flexed his wings and they popped out of the velcro holes in the back of his coat. He stretched them upwards, then started to run forward. He hopped up onto a piece of rubble and kicked off of it, flapping his wings to gain speed and altitude. He looked behind him to see if the angel was following, and picked up his pace as quickly as he could. "I haven't pushed myself in a while..." he muttered to himself. "I hope that angel is as tired as he looks, or I won't have a chance if he takes me up on the race offer."

Esariel quickly caught up with Adrian, but could not pass him. The half-demon was a good flier, and the two of them remained neck and neck for a long time, in the air directly above the motorbike, presumably ready to swoop down and protect its riders if danger presented itself. "Keep an eye out for vampires," Esariel told Adrian, shouting to be heard over the rushing wind. "Werewolves may not always be trustworthy, but their noses are... if he's smelled something, it's here."

((;3 guess I'll get things moving))
Kyra frowned, glancing upwards. The idea of two human sized beings hovering over her head was a bit unnerving. "Hell..." She hissed, tightening her grip a little, though taking care not to do anything that could be construed as her getting fresh. "I really hope this isn't a long tread. I want to get back to my apartment..." She muttered, the words drowning beneath the bike.
Suddenly, the scientist cried out. One hand released itself from Xavier's jacket while her other arm wrapped around his middle, holding onto the front of his shirt. "F-fu... what was..." Her small, thin fingers were pressed hard into the side of her face and, in a few moments, a warm trail of blood trickled down along her chin and over the webbing between her fore and middle fingers. Her head whipped around, trying to see through the dust trail left behind the vehicle. She liked to think it was a rock or branch that the front wheel kicked up, but she was well aware the trajectory wasn't right for that. Instead, a small black figure bounced along the dirt, a wide flat limb flailing behind it.
"A... bat?"

Louie Could not waste time so he push him self so in seconds he jumped and landed into the middle of the street infront of the Atlanta church. The Angels were backed into the church with hundreds of vampires outside it.When Louie Turned around to face the vampires. They all shook in fear of what he was.Not that he was just a Werewolf is that He was The Orginal. The Vampires cried out in fear and began to run.Crawling over each other just to get away. Louie turned around and looked dircecly at Raphel The Arch Angel and smiled."I'm here."

"There," Esariel said, pointing to the fleeing crowd of vampires. Some were still holding their ground, presumably the most ancient and powerful ones who thought they could take on the werewolf. Not wanting to take any fun away from Adrian, he withheld his ability to conjure light for now... certainly it would drive the vampires off, but it would be much less fulfilling than sending them back to hell.
Folding his wings and diving, Esariel dropped down on the vampires, decapitating one before he even landed. The others scattered, either moving farther away from him or joining the others in their cowardly flight.

Adrian rolled his eyes. "Why can't things ever go right for a change?" he muttered as he went into a dive. Drawing his sword, he pressed a small button on its hilt. The sword began to vibrate with an audible hum. A split second before he hit the ground, he flipped over and landed on his feet, then he sprang forward, moving just inches above the ground, slashing at any vampires that got within reach of his very long sword.

"No bat, sister," Xavier said, letting his left hand off of the bikes handlebar to retrieve his pistol. "Keep your head low, and do not, under ANY circumstance--" he was cut off as a vampire swooped in front of the bike. He took aim and fired, the bullet burning directly through the skull of the vampire. The creature disentigrated(however it's spelled) and the bike tore through the ashes. He took aim and took several more pot shots at vampires as the exit for downtown Atlanta came up. He swerved the bike off of the empty highway and up the exit ramp, leaning to the right to take the turn east and into the city. "Now, to find that Werewolf..."
