(LOL at the OOC convo. Roara, you've got to read LOTR. Also, you're needed in The Roads That Lie Ahead.)
"I don't think she's asleep," Chung said. "It would take considerable power to put those images on the wall. She had to have been awake while she was doing it."
He walked over and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Symphonia, are you all right?" he asked.

Symphonia shuddered at the touch and leaned into Chungs side as he stood near her. "I don't know whats happening to me..." She says with a sigh, her eyes closed as she nuzzles his hip a bit. "He took my magic away to become what he is now... but..." She shakes her head, "Why it has been roused is odd..."

"Is it possible that another necromancer (did I get that right?) putting a bit of magic back in sparked it like throwing a match into timber?" Amy questioned, turning her head to view Symphonia.

Symphonia nods, "Yes... it is possible." She quivers lightly, "The magic welling up inside me it...feels weird." She pauses again as she wraps an arm around Chungs waist. "Being cut off from the leylines can be taxing upon your body... as an Elf I did not age at a normal rate when I was cut off by my wicked brother..." Another nod as her pink orb glance around the room, "Now that I have been re-connected to the magical flow it seems I have aged sightly...you can tell by the sound of my voice and...well... look?"

Chung nodded. She did look slightly older, though he wouldn't have noticed had she not mentioned it. And her voice... that change was more noticeable, he had picked up on it almost immediately but hadn't been able to put his finger on what it meant until Symphonia confirmed his suspicions. "Do you feel bad at all?" he asked her. If the magic was making her sick, or causing her physical pain, or otherwise bringing harm then he would have to try to find a way to stop it again, preferably in a less invasive fashion than her brother had.

Symphonia shakes her head, nuzzling against Chungs side in the process. Somehow, being this close to him made her feel incredibly real at the moment, and the closeness wasn't something she was going to give up easily... if she could help it. And so far he didn't peel her off so... "No... it...doesn't hurt. It just feels strange..."

(LOL. I should be so lucky.)
"Well, that's good that it's not hurting you at least," Chung said, trying to be as reassuring to the troubled Elf as possible. That was also the main reason he didn't make any attempt to remove her when she started clinging to him. The other reason was that human contact -- of any kind, but especially with a beautiful Elf girl -- was welcome after his discipline had prevented him from getting as close to anyone as he had to these people for the past fifty-odd years.

Amy watched the Elf embrace Pinata. She did not want to say anything to break the moment. Evan began to stir, and she rubbed the hair on his head gently.
"Ich liebe Dich Evan.." She whispered down softly, being emotionally aroused by the events that were taking place.

Symphonia shakes slightly as she continues to embrace Chung... hot pinks moving to scan the entirety of the room as it suddenly felt alien to here for a moment. As the wave of xenophobia passes her pink eyes find themsleves staring into Chungs eyes... locking there and remaining as she stood up from her seat... hands movign to grip the sides of his chest.

A little embarrassed, Chung asked, "Symphonia, what are you doing?" He wasn't quite sure yet whether this was the woman's way of flirting -- she seemed interested, but even for one who was several centuries old women were very hard to read -- or if she was trying to ply him with magic for some reason.

"You're warm..." Is all she says as her arms close behind his back and she presses her head against his chest. She nuzzles him lightly and closes her eyes. "Maybe now the nightmares will stop." She whispers lghtly, sighing contentedly as she clings to the man.

Fife hovered in air, watching Amy get cuddly with Evan. Deep inside her, a tiny spark of jealousy flickered angrily, which confused her. After all, Evan was human and she was fairy. She fluttered to the rear of the van and for the first time in her short life, made the mature decision to ignore her strange pangs of jealousy. Lonely for Evan's hair, she curled up in the corner of the van and went to sleep. ((Yep, she's jealous of Amy. Don't worry, its nothing important. I just really really wanted to post ))

(Sorry. With Poptart and GG gone, it's harder to involve everybody... when all the players were posting we had a lot more to work with. I'll give everybody something to react to, though.)
The van turned onto a road that obviously hadn't been touched by maintenance workers in at least a decade. As it bounced wildly down the dangerously ill-kept road, Symphonia wrapped her arms around Chung and placed her head against his chest. Maybe now the nightmares will stop, she said, and as if on cue a deep, demonic-sounding male voice answered.
"Your nightmare begins here," it said, and then it cackled maniacally. Somewhere in the distance, an organ started playing a jaunty carnival tune... even further in the distance, a woman gave a short, but bloodcurdling scream.
"I really don't wanna get outta this van," Frankie said from his position in the turret. He was looking at the gaping, blood-dripping maw of the clown head marking the entrance to the abandoned carnival attraction. He could see beyond it far enough that he could tell lights were on inside.
