Fan sat back and enjoyed the ride, letting herself drop into a trance. She only needed to go into a trance to enjoy the benefits of sleep, so she figured a nice car ride would be a perfect time to get some rest. While in this almost sleep like state, her eyes glowed under their lids. She silently mouthed a few words in a repetitive phrase. "Anar'alah belore, shindu fallah na"
Rounding a sharp corner, Fan was jarred from her trance and squeaked loudly. "I thought you said you could drive," she said to Chung. "hmmm... oh well. It's better than I could do!" She smiled widely at Chung. "Where are we going again? After that mean bunny lady? I hope she doesn't have any of her friends with her..." Fan looked out of the window, looking a little worried.

"I hope she doesn't, too," Wang Chung told Fan. He didn't sound worried -- in fact, his face and voice had been expressionless for a lot of this adventure. "But if she does, we'll deal with them." He kept his eyes on the road -- if he looked over at Fan, he might miss the next turn, or worse, hit something.
He thought about the bunny lady -- probably human, although he wasn't confident enough to bet any of his gold on that. Good with the gun, and exceptionally skilled with those high-heeled shoes, but probably without any special powers to draw upon... Fan actually had advantages over her, though she didn't seem to know that. At any rate, the bunny lady was far from the scariest woman Wang Chung had ever met. Immediately on the heels of this thought came an unbidden mental image of the scariest woman he had ever met -- a radiant gothic beauty named Lacrymosa, a servant of The Crimson King, who wore a cloak of madness like a formal gown. He remembered how it had felt when she had touched him -- like his mind was splitting into pieces -- and shuddered. He had seen her cause perfectly sane people to take their clothes off and run down the street naked, babbling incoherent nonsense -- had seen her make men take chainsaws to the ones they loved, and women pour poisonous chemicals into their husbands' tea or drown their children in the bathtub. Yes, there were far worse things to worry about than King Diamond and his assorted henchbeings.
"I remember you, too," a voice whispered inside the car, seeming to come from everywhere and nowhere. Wang Chung swerved, fought the vehicle -- and himself -- back under control, and spared a glance in Fan's direction. "Did you hear that?" he asked.

Symp was bored. The car drive wasn't really helping that either since they weren't really pushing the exotic machine to its limits. Finding the stereo she turned it on- then tuned it to the most crazy station she could find. The music was fast-paced techno, with some metal aspects. It was good- to Symph since she could understand it.

Phobia grimaced at the techno and changed the station to sport some rock. Currently, it was playing "You Found Me" by Kelly Clarkson. Phobia tapped her fingers on the steering wheel, singing along under her breath.
Behind her, the cop cars were gaining, and Phobia realized what direction they were traveling to. She swerved a hard left, gunning the Lamborghini to seventy once it was straight.
"Hold on, Symph. I'm gonna try to lose these buggers." She says as she takes another left, then a right, screeching and swerving around stopped cars.

Jimi Hendrix's "Stone Free" came in loud and clear over his sterio. Gogol saw the cops now that Phobia had swerved out of his rear-view. He smirked a bit. They were gaining on him--for the moment. He calmly shifted into fourth gear and slammed the accelerator to the floor. there was more than one way to get to the docks. As his turn came up, he stepped on the clutch and shifted into neutral, then whipped a turn onto a side street. He shifted straight to second, roared down the street, and hoped the rest of his newfound crew could keep up. He didn't want to face King Diamond alone...

Phobia slammed on her brakes as she saw a black Chevelle racing down a side alley towards her driver's door. The ABS system kicked in just in time. She gassed the engine again as he passed, turning the car to follow Gogol's dissapearing vehicle. She saw flashing lights pass the other end of the road and sighed. At least the cops didn't follow them, but hopefully Chung wouldn't get lost trying to follow Gogol down the maze of roads...

Bam! Symph slammed face-first into the console. "Owy!" She sai, rubbing her nose somehow through the myriad twists of her seat-belt. She still hadn't figured out that she had buckled in wrong.
"That other stuff was more hyper..." She said as Kelly Clarkson's song ended. "Hyper is good..."

Wang Chung wondered for a split second which car to follow, decided on Phobia's since it was closer, and stayed behind her. When she slammed on her brakes, he narrowly avoided rear-ending her, and had to stop his own car quite violently. "Sorry," he said with an apologetic look toward Fan... he knew the ride had been rougher than she had probably hoped. He saw Gogol's car fly past them, and pulled back into the regular formation behind Phobia.

Fan clutched the seat with a death grip, pushing herself as far back into the seat as she could while the car swerved and stopped and shot off again several times. Her eyes were wide, but it was part fear and part excitement. "I didn't think we'd be following a mad man!" she said.
Sparing a glance around the car, focusing intently on the back seat for a second, she checked for signs of something that could speak or transmit sound. "I heard something right before all this," she said, "but I couldn't make it out. It was a weird sound, but almost like a voice...what was it? I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be words or not."

"It was one of the Messengers of Fear -- a servant of The Crimson King," Wang Chung said. "An old acquaintance from another world. She is pure evil -- I can tell you what to look for, but I want to wait until the others are here so they know what they're up against too. For now, just try to keep your mind closed to... unauthorized entry."

Gogol killed the headlights in the Chevelle and pulled quietly along the side of the warehouse at the End of East Bay. There were several other cars parked outside already, but it was dead silent. He checked both of his pistols, flicked off the safety switches, and loaded five rounds into his sawn-off shotgun. He stepped out of the car, lit a cigarette, and waited for the others to arrive. As he did so, he flipped open his cell phone and sent a text message to Dolly Dagger. "the gang's all here," it read...

Fan's eyes widened again, this time almost entirely out of fear, and they began to glow softly. "I don't like the sound of that!" she said. Her hair seemed to pull itself in around her head forming some sort of a hard helmet. "I won't let anything get inside my head, that's for sure...especially if it's evil!"
After a moment of thought, and trying to keep from getting thrown around in the turning car, she looked at Chung. "Um... what's a crimson king?"

Up ahead, Wang Chung saw Gogol's car stop. He slowed down -- as gently as possible, to spare Fan any further trauma -- while he answered her question. "The Crimson King is the ruler of another realm -- a parallel universe, some might call it -- known as The Darklands. He is the leader of all forces of darkness and evil in the universe -- although he serves no religious purpose in and of himself, many think of him as the devil."
He pulled the car to a stop. There were cars and motorcycles parked in this area already -- he recognized the limousine from which the bunny woman and her boss had emerged, and the motorcycles obviously belonged to the biker gang that was part of King Diamond's entourage. He groaned inwardly at the prospect of facing bikers -- those people were always itching for a fight, and usually forced Chung to give one to them. "Expect trouble," he said to Fan, nodding in the direction of the motorcycles.

Symph pointed ahead, "Look! There they are!" she said, as her keen Elven vision spotted everybody stopping near a warehouse right ahead of them. Her sight also spotted the myriad of Motorcycles and the Limo from which King Diamond and the Bunny Women stepped out of.
In one of the windows of the Warehouse she also spotted a person. She couldn't make out any details, except a small red dot coming from about eye-level. "Hey! Why is there a red dot on your head?" She asked, pointing to the spot.

Gogol flicked the cigarette away as the rest of them pulled up. At Symph's question, he instinctively ducked behind his car, and produced his two handguns. "Guess they know we're here," he said and smirked. A light rain was beginning to fall as looked at the rest of the group. "Whatever it is you're after, it'd d**ned well better be worth it."
