As Jason ran full speed on all fours, his wand in his mouth, through the back alleys of London, he knew he was cutting it close. Jason quickly changed back to his normal form so as not to be noticed by muggles, or even worse, future classmates. His black scraggly fur changed into, black scraggly hair, while his clothes seemed to form out of nowhere. Jason slipped the wand into his pocket, knowing his father was waiting for him with his books and other supplies, as well as the robes he figured he would change into on the train. If Jason hadn't been up all night practicing the proper wand movements he'd learned from some of his father's old books, he wouldn't have forgotten to bring his wand in the first place.
With barely a few minutes to spare Jason walked into the station. Noticing his wand was sticking out of his pocket slightly, he fixed his shirt so that it was hidden underneath it. As Jason walked into the platform hidden between platforms 9 and 10, Mr. Edward Bones, his father, handed him his stuff and told him to hurry up. Jason scrambled onto the train and found an empty compartment. Being as his birthday had just passed, the contents of Jason's pockets, several Galleons and Silver Sickles, were clinking happily about as he walked over to a seat and sat down. He decided to reread one of his potions books, seeing as there was no one around to talk to.

As Arravold walked into the train station, he felt odd carrying a suitcase full of magical supplies while wearing robes underneath his jeans and sweater. It was hard to fit the robes underneath his muggle clothes, as you can imagine, and so his clothes looked a little puffy in some areas and were very uncomfortable as the lower half of his robes were folded up so that they did not slip through either of his pant legs. Arravold hadn't a clue how to get on to the platform, and so had his mother ask one if anyone knew. Unfortunately none of the ticket collectors had any clue what they had been talking about. Arravold was about to give up when he noticed a black hared boy about his age walke through a pillar between platforms 9 and 10. Looking to make sure noone was watching, the boy put his hand on the barrier and was exited as it feel right through. Taking one last look around, the boy quickly hopped through the barrier, but not before his mother could plant a quick kiss on his cheek.
The boy was amazed at the wonderous things he saw before him. A couple of days ago, at Diagon Alley, the boy had learned a lot about the magical world, but as he stepped onto the train, he wondered to himself how much there had to be in the world that he hadn't known during his muggle life. As he stepped on the train, he began to search for an empty compartment, but came across the boy he had followed onto the platform, and decided to sit next to him. He looked at the boy and spoke, "Hello, I'm Arravold."

Jason closed the book and decided to change into his school robes now that he was on the train. He had just finished changing into his robes when another boy stopped in his compartment and approached Jason. He noticed the boy was wearing muggle clothes over his school robes, and certainly hadn't noticed as they were still on. Jason figured he might as well be polite rather than start making enemies so early. "The name's Jason. Nice to meet you. By the way, you're wearing muggle clothes over your robes, you know. I assume you'll be wanting to take them off." Jason watched the boy's face as he realized Jason was right. It appeared that the boy knew that he had been wearing them, but had simply forgotten while introducing himself, or simply hadn't gotten around to them yet. Either way, Jason watched as Arravold fumbled to remove his muggle clothes, and was soon dressed in the same black robes that Jason had been wearing.
