*cough*
Umm....yeah...... Well.....anyway... Hello, I am Darthwedge, the almighty google has lead me to this place in case anyone is wondering.
I have been RPing or writing for a long time, too long in fact, scary long, freaky long, you get the idea. ;D Anyway, I like lots of differen't RPs, mainly the plot-driven ones, but Star Wars ones will always be my first love.
So yeah, if you have any questions, just ask, I am more than happy to answer them, unless there strange ones.
Reporter: "How many times a week do you bathe?" Me: "Pardon?" Reporter: "You heard me!" Me: "Uh, I don't know... I don't keep track" Reporter: "Take off your pants"
But anyway, Im rambeling on now so for the sake of everyones sanity, I will stop......................................NOW!

Quick question: How do I start a RP? Do I have to get a mod's permission, where do I post it? Ect.

If you wanna get people interested, discuss possible characters, etc. you should post an intro thread in the rp discussion section. Most people do that to make sure the rp sections don't fill up with threads that no one ever posts in and it's also good for clarifying issues and questions. But it's really up to you what to do. And insofar as I know, you don't need permission to start an rp. Not unless they changed the rules on me. O.o
Welcome! ^^

No, Airkshil's right. You don't need permission to start an RP. He's also right that it's usually a good idea to post a general idea of what you're going for (early story outline, what sorts of characters you need, special RP-specific rules that need to be followed, etc.) in the RPG Discussions board. You'll also then be able, by number of replies, to determine the level of interest in your RP idea. If you've got around 10-20 replies, interest is rather high and it'll likely be a very good RP. If you only get one or two, you may want to advertise it by PMing members who you either think might be interested, or have had positive RPing experiences with before (there are certain members that I try to get to join every single one of my RPs, just because I know they're good RPers). At any rate, welcome to the site. Good to have another Star Wars fan. Wedge would have been scary as a Sith Lord.

Which wedge? FF7 wedge? FF8 wedge? FF9 wedge? FF6 wedge complete with his shiny armor of faux-magic goodness?

The Final Fantasy Wedges are more annoying than cool. We are talking about Wedge Antillies.

The Star Wars Wedge. He's one of the X-Wing pilots (in fact, the only one besides Luke to survive the first Death Star battle) in the movies. The X-Wing books focus on him as the main character, which is cool because he's actually quite a fascinating guy, for someone who had such a minor role in the movies.
