The sun shone high in the sky, a good day for the young man walking amongst the throngs of other half-breeds. He was in the Lower Town Market of Largos the largest city on the planet and oddly enough, he was shopping.
He couldn't thank his friends enough for getting him out of the Wastes outside the city. His left arm was bandaged to hide his disfigurement, something he had no recollection of.
Well, on this day he was looking for gear to help get him into a particular mansion. He had to get in to see for himself if there was a jewel inside that had the radiance of a dark sun. Something he didn't understand but hoped he would soon enough.
His right hand was in his pocket, fiddling with a keepsake he had. Something from an old friend that he held dear. He had a leather bag in his left, holding the equipment he would need tonight...

Violet eyes flashed as they looked around the crowds of half-breeds, looking for an easy target.
She watched carefully till her eyes spotted a man in the crowd. He seemed a good target.
With a smirk she left her spot and started into the crowd.
Waiting till the area around him was very dense, she made her way inside and easily faked being knocked into him with a grunt.
"I'm sorry," she nodded to him, avoiding his gaze and looking apologetic before walking off.
That bump was all she needed. It was hard enough to jostle them both and make any knocks against him seem accidental... and well... if he 'dropped' anything, it would seem that the hid was harder than believed.
Roxy took what she could in that brief knock and then was off, getting out of the crowd, and disappearing from the market in barely any time.

Reinos grunted as the stranger hit him. His hand came out of his pocket. Enough time to lose the keepsake, a lapus lazuli stone set in silver.
Reinos put his hand back in his pocket and stopped realizing the necklace was gone. Where did it go?
He looked left and right, all over the ground and it wasn't there. He searched frantically until a realization dawn upon him. Two actually. When the stranger had hit him, for a moment he had smelled a scent much like his own.
His hand went up and traced the scar going thorugh his left eye. Another canine demon was here. He would find her, a her he was sure of that, and get what she took back.
He searched through the crowds looking left and right for those violet eyes he had seen for only a moment....

Roxy was long gone, smiling at the necklace she'd acquired. This one she'd keep instead of selling.
After the marketplace, Roxy made her way to a mansion in this town. A jewel with the radiance of a dark sun... After hearing that she'd be crazy NOT to go after it.
Roxy put the necklace on around her neck so she'd have less chance of losing it as she hurried to the mansion at an incredible speed.

He'd lost her, and with her the necklace. Reinos growled scaring a few people. A child hiding behind his mom. Reinos paid it no mind. He hefted his back pack and made his way to the mansion in Upper Town.
He shed his normal clothing and put on a black trenchcoat, boots, jeans and shirt and took of the leather arm band on his left arm. Hiding them in an alley, he went to the outer wall of the mansion. He couldn't get distracted. He had to focus. His eyes glowed blue as he leapt up nine feet and grabbed onto the wall and over into the outer garden.
"That jewel better be worth this,"he whispered to himself....

Roxy made it to the mansion and looked around for security.
She found them and hit a nerve in their necks, knocking them out. But for looks sake, she left them standing. Then she snuck into the house, carving a hole in the glass of a window and then opening it.
Making sure to remember how she got in, she ventured inside and looked around for anything that could give her a clue about where the jewel was.

Reinos felt a pull in his gut. A strange feeling he couldn't understand so he left it alone. There was bound to be some guard station around with the highest secure areas put out on a map or something. He went to the front entrance and one guard on duty. Easy.
Reinos ran from the his cover and in one swipe knocked the guard out cold. Reinos. Pulled him into the bushes and went inside. The feeling had gotten stronger....

Roxy took no time in getting around the house, avoiding the inhabitants, and finding the safe in the basement.
She smirked to herself as she pressed her ear against the vault door and slowly began to spin the dial, listening for a 'click'

Reinos dispatched any guards he came across in the hallways and finally managed to find one of those maps. He made his way to the basement.
As he got closer, the feeling in his stomach got tighter. He groaned, and fought it back.
He got to the stairs leading down and smelled that scent again in the air. Strong. Was his mind playing tricks on him?
He made his way down the stairs slowly, his eyes watching the shadows, though he heard a faint clicking like a lock...A LOCK! The JEWEL!
Reinos barelled down the stairs knowing what he would find, the thief and both his necklace and jewels....

Roxy got the last tumbler and was about to open the door when she heard someone bumbling into the basement.
Her eyes widened since she knew she had nowhere to hide, so she simply pulled out a knife and waited for whoever it was coming down there, shoulder pressed against the vault door as she watched the stairs.

Reinos stopped at the bottom of the stairs, looking at the woman now holding a knife before her. He could smell her clearly now, a scent as strong as his. She was a canine demon alright.
"Lady, put the knife down," he said as he looked passed the knife and saw his necklace.
"And move aside, I'm here for something," he said. He didn't say it threateningly, but he would fight if he had to. Though, he doubted he could even bring himself to fight this one.....

She growled, "Well so am I. And I'm not leaving here without it. So turn around and leave, and I'll get back to what I was doing."

Reinos growled back. His eyes starting to glow blue.
"I'm not going anywhere without that jewel, or you for that matter," he said. She was wearing his necklace and he wasn't about to rip it off her or let her know if she didn't recognize him. What kind of demon was she?
Reinos had to focus on her knife, that face...no way. Wearing that necklace she reminded him of it's previous owner.....

"I'm not going anywhere with you, and that jewel inside, is mine. I worked hard to get the lock undone and you're not stealing my prize." she continued to growl, baring her teeth.

Reinos heard a clammer up the stairs.
"He went downstairs," he heard,"Where the others?" " Out cold!"
Reinos knew he messed up.
"Uh, we apparently have a problem,"he said as the stairwell door burst open and five guards came running down.
Reinos turned his back to the woman, taking a battle stance and bringing the boneblades from his right arm to bare. He was growling as his eyes began to glow brighter.
"Who wants to face the reaper,"he said as he realized they had stunbatons. Great.
One went for him and he knocked him backward with a sidekick....
