*i think they're actually still inside and behind the gates, but w/e...* *EDIT: blimeh x-x*
The instant the kid said that, his eyes seemed to glow a bloody red. So he had heard her earlier... but now wasn't the time to think about that. How he knew about the girl was beyond him, but now wasn't the time... they needed to get out somehow, as even his great strength had a limit, especially against multiple enemies like this...
One of the wolfish freaks cut him off when it somehow managed to bite down on the gauntlet he wore, cutting through the metal and into his bare skin, upon which the orge bellowed, grabbed the freak, and yanked him free, sending blood all about as some in the crowd gasped. His blood-shot eyes glared and his entire body seemed to grow as every muscle in his body hardened. With a snort, he growled "Playtime's over, you sumeb****." Flicking the blood from his wounded arm, the one who had been Almara's Guardian got into a sort of boxing stance as three assorted members of the freak squad began circling him, another one apparently having thought the draken to be a bigger threat than an orge towering over them...
*just for references, just one of the Guardian's hands is large enough to pick up a human skull and have his fingers down about to where the jaw joint is. in other words, they're huge, and so is the rest of him. the armor doesn't add to his height at all...*

*I meant move towards her, that is, nearer to the gate so it may eventually become easier to escape but he is a bit busy being swarmed to say all this XD*
The three on him were very frustrated now, even angry mainly because their attacks were not having the effects they would like to see as it seemed his skin was as resistant to their claws and teeth as the big guy's armor. They started concentrating on him because he was supposed to be the weakest one in the arena and they hadn't been able to take him down yet. He was making them look useless and their master a fool for suggesting that they were the new soldiers of law enforcement.
Scoltun went down on his knee as the forth one jumped on him leaving two behind for the Guardian to deal with, a kitsune and a wolf, a dangerous combination in itself. He himself had two of each on him right now, one trying to pull at his wings, trying to tear them off, as she held onto his body with her legs crossed across his waist. His face was in a constant state on grimace as his body was starting to respond to the pain from the various tears and bites his enemies were slowly forming on his body.
With a sudden push he was off the ground, knocking off the kitsune holding onto his wings to the ground, leaving her to look up at her three pack members already a hundred feet in the air heading straight into the range of the cannons. She didn't even try to go for the Guardian facing off against the two behind her, but just looked towards her master up above the stands. Was she going to shoot this flying draconian down along with half her pack or let him ultimately reach the level of the spectators after which he would have the upper hand.

((i don't know what i did. whoever's playing the guard -i'm too lazy to go back and look- can take charge, i guess, so zyph and almi will follow.))
Zyphan hadn't really a clue as to what was going on, except that they needed to get somewhere that was safer and more accessible to the arena. "We'll follow you, if you know what you're doing. Just whatever you do, be quick about it. I don't like these tremors or sirens." In truth, she was worried that Reinos and the other two set off something that they shouldn't have touched. Hopefully things would all go well and they would have Almi's Guardian and Scoltun back in their group again, safe from the dangers of the Collosseum.

Reinos was no longer in control of his own senses. Something in him told him that they were in greater danger than the Colosseum itself posed and that was really not a good thing. He tore through wall after wall, ignoring the experiments that would horrify others if seen. He really wouldn't have cared at that point considering he had been the subject of many of them. Finally, he reached a wall he couldn't cut through.
"The Data Chamber," he said as he moved down the corridor he had come in as sentry bots came into view. They weren't designed for security, only watching. They were of little consequence.
He found the door in and the computer data port that would allow him inside. He quirked an eyebrow.
"Voice recognition, huh?" he said, and the data por lit up,"What?"
Another unexpected turn, the system was reacting to his voice and he knew how to open this thing considering this was where they had sealed his memory upon capture.
"Verification Code: Lunamis Draconian 1479, Passcode: Those in shadow are the key to our salvation," he said as the computer beeped for a moment.
"Verification code recognized, passcode accepted. Welcome Theodoric," the computer said as the doors slid open to reveal the computer core. The room was stark white and in the center was a chair as black as night and on the walls were two vid panels for viewing. On one wall stood what looked like a cupboard, but was actually built into the wall. It held numerous discs pertaining to many experiments, including the ones performed on him in this nightmare of a place. He shuddered as he looked at the room. It had been here that his mind had almost been destroyed in the humans trying to find information on Pandemonium. His catatonia had been the only thing that kept the information sealed and his life intact.
He moved into the room and walked over to the stand of discs.
"Computer, eject discs relating to the elves, namely one Mierca Lo'ora and those of the Project Shadow and the data on the kitsune demon that was here only thirty eight hours ago," he said as the discs slid from the wall. Three in total, one for Mierca, one for Roxy and one for Project Shadow, Reinos' own personal nightmare. He removed them and thought for only a second.
"Computer, relay the video feed from the Pit onto the screens," he said as the video came through and he saw the Guardian and the abominations for the first time. An animalistic growl escaped his throat as he saw them and the Draconian take to the sky. They were in a desperate situation.
"Mierca, please guard these," he said looking to the little girl,"On these discs is our future, please protect them."
"Looks like I'm going to have to use that shadow energy again," he said to himself. He looked around to see if Roxy was there.
Meanwhile, the cannons trained on the Draconian, heedless of the danger they were putting the pack. The Mistress smiled, silly to think she would actually care about these cheap imitations of the originals. They lacked their beauty and grace, their power and will. They were nowhere close to the true demons that they were imitating. Not even Reinos and Roxy were close in her eyes.
A snarled erupted from the guard's throat. That Draconian was either very brave or very stupid. To think that the cannons would care about thier targets was ridiculous, but he was putting alot at stake...and was rewarded as a blood curdling howl erupted from the center of the Colosseum. A howl not for intimdation, but to let HIS pack know where he was and that he was coming.
"Lady, not being seen is no longer a problem," he said to her as his eyes began glowing bright red. All the preparations had been made, now it was up to the boy. It was his show now. A katana appeared in the air before him and he held the guitar to the girl.
"Your gonna need this, the party is about to begin," he said as the shadows in the pit began to shift, darkness moving in on itself. Shadow teleportation, something he HATED doing because he couldn't transform afterwords. But this was different, it wasn't magic like with Reinos...it was technology. He had told the computer to activate it's emergency system at the cost of powering it with his own energy. Now the real fight would begin and pray that they escaped alive.
The Mistress only sighed when she saw the darkness. A foolish thing to do on his part, but she couldn't not expect if of him considering his friends were in danger. The cannons fired on the Draconian...and hit only the Pack and not even denting that skin of his.
"WHAT!" the Mistress bellowed, as the shadow pulled back revealing the three missing members of the group.
"LET'S GO!" he shouted as the crowd erupted into cheers, recognizing the former champion as he lunged one of the creatures circling the Guardian.....
(I do hope that is to your liking. MAN, that hurt my head!)

((I'm a little confused now as to what exactly is going on and where exactly everyone is...))
Mierca was panting from racing after Reinos, and was perhaps fortunate that her attention had been locked on him. She thought it was somewhat strange that the door opened for him, once they'd gotten that far, but only questioned the name mentioned - who was Theodoric? One of the bad people, probably, and that had just been the one used to trick the machine. Or something like that.
She forgot about that when Reinos got the disks and handed them to her, though. The one in particular got her attention; the one for her. How was it that anyone but her human guardians knew about her? They'd been so careful to hide the fact that she was an elf, and no one had ever seemed to know... But there it was in her hand, something about her. Suddenly she was afraid for her "parents."
'Keep focused, kid. I'd rather not have to do another emergency takeover.'

"I can't believe you... you brought us back into the fight... I can't believe you..."
She looked around in shock, but didn't have long to think when she saw the fighting going on.
"I don't suppose there's another explosion waiting to get us out of here?..." she sighed and shook her head.
"well then... guess we have to fight..." Roxy nodded and growled as she changed into her demon form and looked for the closest opponent, lunging immediately and digging her claws and fangs in.

*i would nitpick but my brain's still trying to get past first gear on this one x-x*
Everything happened so fast that Almi really didn't have time to react, physically or emotionally. Her frightened state made her cling to Zyphan, clutching the guitar that was handed back to her. "What do we do now, though? It doesn't look like anyone's hiding anymore... but I don't think I can fight anymore." And practically on cue, her stomach started growling; at the worst possible time, she was famished, starving. The crowd only got louder all around her, making her ever more frightened, which wasn't helping their situation any at the moment.
Almi knew she needed to help, but her head was hurting from hunger, which meant she couldn't play. And whamming out random notes wouldn't help at all... but she had to help, she had to. As she was, there wasn't much she could do, but... Her stomach growled again, reminding her that she had skipped several more meals over the last twenty-four hours, and would most likely regret it very, very soon.

Zyphan heard Almi's stomach, and remembered that she had bought some fruit not too long ago, and pulled it out of her pack, handing it to the girl. "Here, Almi. This should do until we can get some good stuff." She looked around, a little alarmed at the sudden change in emotional atmosphere.
Knowing that it was high time to find Reinos and the others and get the two in the arena out of there, Zyphan reached for her broadsword and glanced at the guard before looking for a way down to the pit. "We need to find Reinos and the others, but I also want to help down in the arena." She gestured to the commotion around her. "But what do you say about all this? Should we do something else or do you have any suggestions?"

Almi cocked her head in the 'Why didn't you give me this earlier' motion and immediately attacked the fruits, felt guilty for doing so, and so appologized before practically inhaling the vegetation before her. Looking about, she stated (after swallowing) "Me thinks we won't have to look far for them... but I wanna get out of here." And then there was that nagging little voice in the back of her head going on with You know you can't just leave them behind, with what they've done for you up to now, and that was impossible to whack out of her mind. She needed to make a decision, and make it quick...
Having built her resolve to both get out of this annoying place and not abandon the others over a few seconds of pondering, she fixed her mindset. "Ok... We got to get a distraction or something going so we can get to the others. I don't think we should stick around here any more than we need to. But what?"
*brain is fried and i need to leave for work. will finish up in the morning (mai taim) >.>*

Reinos kept Mierca close to him as he took one of the creatures through the neck with his boneblades. These things were too fast and he wasn't going to transform. Stupid, what was he thinking rushing in here without thinking. He looked at his friends around him fighting and knew that that was why. They had needed him, and now was the time to show it.
The Pack had backed up, sincing a change in the air as Theodoric looked down into the pit. It was time to move.
"There is a Control Room down the hall to the left. Extremely sensitive equipment down there. A little sonic sound could fry everything," he said, looking at the two women,"Go down that way, disable the equipment and get into the pit like the pack did. Be wary though, Reinos is about to do something drastic. And one last thing, the name's Theodoric."
He left them with that and moved into the shadows as if he were one. As down in the pit Reinos pulled a few daggers from his waist and held them in front of Mierca, his eyes flashing from blue to gold and back.
"Take these in case you need them," he said, his fangs exposed. Reinos did indeed have a drastic measure on his mind....

The little Elf took the daggers, though she wasn't entirely sure what to do with them. Her attention was more on the fact that danger was all around now, though - well, it had become visible, anyway.
'Those are probably for me.'
Kyra? Mierca stayed near to Reinos as she could, trying to keep out of harm's way.
'Used to be my weapon of choice. I can fight in your place, if you'd like... If you allow it, it won't be so hard on us as last time.'

He used his talons to hold one that had tried to slip out from him as he flew up. They figured they would rather take the chance of testing their luck to survive the hundred foot drop than take their chances with the cannons. This behaviour also told Scoltun that the cannons would fire regardless of what or who was the target was. He grabbed the two who had dug their claws into him finally, breaking through the skin and took them in a kind of a choke-hold.
It was then that they hit him. The three cannons were following his flight path for the past 10-15 feet or so as he was rising in the air and fired simultaneously as he reached the limit set for the contestants in the arena. The crowd went silent, everyone went silent, as the cannons roared and slammed the four creatures, Scoltun and the three of the Pack, unlucky enough to to be in its sights. The spectators looked in shock mostly, never having seen this happen before. Nobody they remembered had tested the cannons yet, they looked menacing enough from a distance.
Scoltun was hurt, no doubt, badly. He had never been in so much pain. his muscles seem to have been compressed by a combination of the sudden clast so close to him and the impact as he had hit the far titanium wall, making a considerable dent in it. He could feel that at least two of the Pack were trapped behind him, in the wall. He seemed to have lost the third or had been completely destroyed, he couldn't tell.
He opened his eyes to taste his blood, in his mouth, after a very long time. But that was not the worry as yet. He could hear the cannons reload while the other three scaned the skies, their operators sure, that the threat had been eliminated. He tried to move but he couldn't. His body wouldn't respond to his mind but he was alive. He roared loudly, in frustration and pure anger after a long time and of course, in extreme pain.
Then he felt the samething he had felt when he had killed the Elite on the roof just a day back. By the time he stopped letting out his pain and anger, the whole crowd was looking at him, amazed that he had survived this while the other three guns trained at him immediately. His body had visibly developed scales like a dragon would have and his tail-end had hardened. He could feel it beginning to dig into the skin of his back, where it was trapped for now. He had changed again. He detached himself from the wall and flapped his wings. His ribs and shoulders hurt with every flap of his wings. The three guns had fired at the wall, where he had been only a fraction of a moment ago. The blast propelled him faster through the air, towards the other reloading cannons. They had sacrificed reloading time for power as they would have though there wouldn't be anyone alive after just one shot from the massive cannons.
He didnt know what had happened to the members of the Pack who had been stuck in the wall behind him. He hoped they had not made it out of the wall, not alive anyway. He hit section of the "wall" above the cannons feet first. Using his now, sharper and moer developed talons and his sharp tail, he cut tried to cut through the section to find, to his surprise that it was not titanuim but a softer metal sheet that could be cut through. The guards inside, the operators were not elites, he was glad for that, and were only a moment later thrown out of the opening after he had entered the operating room, some bleeding through long gashes in the front and the back, their armor not being able to stop a furious draconian from doing his deed.
The guns were not, thankfully, being operated through a complex computerized system but through a simple set of six joysticks and buttons, one for each cannon. He smiled, after too long and looked at the screen showing the current target of the cannons. He worked quickly, running through the different consoles and moved three to target a section of the wall, below a stand of spectators and the rest at the balcony high above the cannons from where he assumed watched the lady he had seen before. He pressed used his forearm to smash at all the buttons together, firing the cannons at their targets. He didn't care for the spectators above the wall, those who would willfully come to watch these killings of innocents. He had made sure he had not aimed it where Zyphan and Almi had been standing, those are the two he would want to hurt. He looked up at the balcony and smiled again. He was making sure she would not forget him anytime soon, niether would anyone present there that day.

It took her a minute, but Almi quickly caught onto what the man was saying; by the time she'd formed a question to ask, however, he was gone again... Something inside her ached, having a bad feeling about this whole thing. Still, if she could help, then she'd do so... but how had this guy known about her?
Not now a voice inside her stated rather plainly, startling her. "Huh?" Almi cocked her head as she quietly inquired, looking to Zyph for the source, but not exactly at her. It hadn't been her, but it was plain as day to the young girl's ears. Still, it was that soft voice once more, softer than a sigh or leaves blowing in the wind. It was her again. And so it was time for them- all of them- to get a move on. Pushing those momentary thoughts to the back of her mind, she set herself to what had to be done, looking now at her current protector as if asking when...

Zyphan gaped at Scoltun, watching as the cannons hit him, as he changed again, and also his flight into the control room, redirecting each gun. The guard's -no, Theodoric's- words finally sank in, and she glanced down at Almi, knowing he was talking about her abilities. "You ready to do this, kid?" A crooked smile crept across her face at these words, and the phoenix pulled her broadsword from the sheath on her back as a precaution.
She didn't want to waste any more time standing in the open, so she set off down the hall, pausing to make sure the cat-eared rockstar was following her. "Soon as this is all over, we can get your Guardian, get my- uh, our Scoltun and the rest of our little group out of this place."

Almi rushed to catch up, feeling more than a twinge of annoyance as she watched the unfolding scene outside from her eye's far corner, knowing full well what Zyph had meant. 'I saw him first' she grumbled under her breath, clutching the neck of her Strat which hung from her back once more, keeping pace behind the blue lady despite being a head shorter and still hungry. Her ears could still catch what was going on outside, however, even through her eyes could barely follow...
He had been pinned down by one of the pack that'd gotten a lucky strike in, holding open a set of jaws that could probably crush a man's neck in one bite just inches from his own throat. He made it look easy; in reality, he was sweating badly. The endurance he once had was waining in his old age, old even for his kin, and now, it showed very much so. It was why he didn't like dragging out fights, but these half-breed... things... just wouldn't go down.
Finally managing to toss it away, he was body-slammed from behind, the pack noticing his tiring and taking full advantage of it. If things kept up, he'd be dead before having even taken out one of them... Abruptly, they began backing off, and only now did he have a moment to take in all of what was happening: the former champion, the Hellhound, stood somewhere near the middle, wiping one of them off a blade protruding from his forearm; what was either a younger fox demon or a half-breed lunged for another near the outer edges; and the draken child, who'd just been in his vision a moment ago, was gone. Nursing the wound he'd gotten earlier, the huge figure backed up, away from the pack as much as he could. "So, what 'n th' hell's goin' on here?"
*he doesn't see Theo, just to clarify, so the whole of them backing off or w/e they're doing doesn't make sense from his point of view.*
