" I dont trust just anyone to serve me!" Fae said indignantly glancing at Eirya, her senses beginning to feel uncomfortable and the strong vibes she got difting through the air did anything but to calm her.
" So people HAVE been sent out to look for us. It seems strange though that he would be traveling alone. I would suspect a whole army to be hiding behind those bushes but...nothing Eirya sent to Fae. Fae glared down at him as she tossed her hair over her shoulder feeling like a small kid taking on too much. But she collected herself reasonably well and turned her full attention back to the stranger. Disregarding his very accurate asomtions as to where they had been traveling she intensified her glare. "I can not command Eirya to do anything sir. I cannot call her off as you so delicatley put it and she will do as she wishes!" Fae said crossing her arms over her chest and glancing over at Eirya.
Fae blinked rapidly and a litle shocked stepped back as the butterfly landed on Eirya's nose. She muffled down a laugh as smoke slowly curled its way out of Eirya's nose as she gave a burst of wind out of her wings and flew off back to the waterfall making sure to flash a gust of dirt into the strangers faces. Fae still stood there. Arms crossed, sending questions to Eirya about why she left.

Zyphan shrugged his shoulders at the Rider's response.
"Do what you will, but you need allies if you are to get anywhere in this world." Here, he glances at the Dragon. "Even with your emerald companion to help you, in a raid of twenty or more Urgals, you will be overpowered."
Zyphan chuckles as the emerald Dragon flies off, but stops as he realizes that he probably shouldn't be playing sweet nothings in such a situation as this. And with an elf, too, nonetheless.
"Is your Dragon all right? That butterfly of mine didn't frighten her, did it?" Here, the blue beauty flutters down to rest on Zyphan's gloved hand, seeming unafraid of him.

Fae cocked her head to one side and looked at the stranger once more. She decided to take a different aprroach to this. Her first assumption was probably that he was not going to leave anytime soon and since he seemed to know a some what great deal of what she was going to be doing more than she herself knew she stepped a step closer looking him in the eye.
"So what would help me in a fight against 20 Urgals? I think I have a better chance with Eirya than most people alone." She asked bluntly. Resting her hand on the hild of her sword her fingers running over the details on it.
She waved her hand absent mindedly at his notice of Eirya running off. Her sudden departure she thought, was probably due to being annoyed with this situation. There was no doubt she would be waiting for then down near the waterfall.

Zyphan nodded. The elf was correct in that with her Dragon, she would have a better chance of surviving than most people.
"Yes, in that you are correct. But, for every Urgal you and your Dragon slay, there will be more to replace them, and you may tire before they do. I really don't know what help I will be, but two swords and a set of fangs are better than one sword and a set of fangs, am I not correct?"
Zyphan began to lead his horse towards the waterfall. "Care to join me? I was unable to fill my water supply due to a rude interruption." He glanced back at the elf and chuckled before continueing on.

Fae started biting on her perfectly sharp finger nail knowing a few moment after she bit it off it would go back to its glossy perfectly sharp state as elves nails seemed to do way to often. The talk of the Urgals was starting to make her uncomfortable but she faced it none the less and nodded silently.
"So I see you just volunteered yourself to fight with me. I'll hold you to that." A small smile played at her lips as she yanked her sword out of the ground.
She mockingly curtsied and gestured toward the waterfall. She sourly and playfully stuck her tongue out at his back as she quickly strided ahead of him leading the way calling over her shoulder.
"It would be my pleasure to accompany you to get some water considering the absolutely polite lady I am." She called mockingly throwing her hair over her shoulder one side of her lip curling into a half smile as she spead up her pace.

Zyphan chuckled at the Elf's response as she walked past him. Reaching the waterfall, he allowed Tukor, his gray gelding to graze, and filled his water canteen.
"So," the man said, seating himself on a boulder and watching the Rider and her Dragon, "Now what? If it were my guess, we should travel to Farthen Dûr and meet these Varden folk. Or, if you would rather see your own folk, we could travel there as well." Zyphan waited for the Elf's response, petting a young robin that had landed beside him.

"Yah Farthen Dur it is. I think we should leave pretty soon though something about staying in the same place too long doesn't seem so safe anymore we might bump into the wrong people." She shot him a cold look.
"Ha! my people. And what makes you think that just because I'm an elf and your my companion you'd be welcomed??? thats a no for sure. I'll be picking our traveling direction thank you very much.
She felt Eirya's presense coming closer before the gust of wind that blew the trees apart came and down she landed next to Fae who was now on the ground partailly hugging her knees her eyes scanning the clearing once more.

"Whatever you say. I'll follow your lead until...well, until you get tired of my company or I get tired of yours." He shrugs, ignoring the Elf's glare. "When would you like to leave? We must go a slower pace if I am to keep up, unless your Dragon is large enough to carry us both...and willing to.
Zyphan watched the Elf, noticing how ready-to-run she was. "Why are you so uptight? It's very rare to meet someone this far into the wilderness. I'm still astounded that you found me here. Oh, and by the way...I don't remember you having said your name. What was it? I'm Zyphan if I haven't said mine."

"I'm pretty sure she could...willing to might be a different problem. And what about your gelding? If your so willing to set him free then its just a matter of you persuading Eirya." She replied, her eyebrow slowly rising. She stood up brushing her shoulder against Eirya and washing her face in the cool water from the waterfall.
"I don't exactly have all the time in the world to be humorous. I was just running away from a problem if you could put it that way. In my case it would be easier to do that than face it...I'm Fae." She added the tips of her hair dipping into the water.

"Well, Fae. How about's we get going then, if you're in no mood for humor." Zyphan whistled Tukor over, and once again pulled out his map. "We're only about four day's travel from Farthen Dur if we keep a steady pace, traveling from dawn until dusk with only a short stop in the evening. Except, that's at a trot, and I wouldn't set Tukor free; he knows the way quite well enough."
Zyphan pondered over the map some more, before looking up again, sighing in frustration. "I hate these maps. They never tell you the fastest route, just where you are and where you want to be." He whispered some words, and the map folded neatly into a small square the size of the man's palm.
"Shall we move on, then? You may fly ahead with Eirya; it won't be that difficult to follow...or find you once you've landed." With these words, Zyphan mounted Tukor, and waited for Fae.

"Humor me," she mumbled as she glanced over his shoulder at the map. "Ok, lets get going. Eirya tells me a few miles towards Farthen Dur there is a pond. I say we meet there. By the sound of at a trot we'll be there by early tomorrow morning...At a gallop we get there by nightfall." She whipped her hair around and started sattling Eirya.
Someone seems reluctant to give over control... Eirya sent Fae, a playful tone in her voice.
Why should I, I can be as stubborn as I want Fae answered hottily
Keep in mind that there have been instances when stubbornness hasn't been the best thing to use in a situation...
With that Eirya leaned back on her legs and the steady and anticipated take off coursed through both their bodies as they took off. The sweet crisp wind brushing in their faces. They made sure to keep low as they advanced forward.

Zyphan shook his head. Fae doesn't seem to happy about him accompanying her on her journey. Looks like I've caused some trouble I shouldn't have. he thought to himself, spurring Tukor on in the direction of Farthen Dur...
((do you want to just skip their travel? i mean, what's so great about camping and all that? we could just do when they meet after this one day, and then have them arrive at the Farthen Dur entrance...it would be much better than playing each day))

((Yah I was going to say there isn't to much to say about camping and such...))
It was starting to darken when the reached the small lake and Eirya and Fae had already started the fire and were feeding it as they waited for Zyphan. "I'm nervous this is eating me alive...Furthen Dur..." her thoughts drifted off as she looked into the fire and say Eirya's eyes stare back at her from the fire.
Sometimes speaking your thoughts makes them less of an image and a reality and talking to Eirya a loud once in a while let some of the tension go.
Eirya simply blinked and nodded. Her neck craned around Fae's body as she stood by the fire to restless to sit down. She took out her sword and jabbed at some trees.

Zyphan rode a very tired Tukor into camp, having seen Eirya and Fae land only a half hour ago.
"I assume your flight went well?" He took Tukor's tack off and tied him to a nearby tree, then came and sat by the fire. "Shall we set off at sunrise, then, in the morning, oh fair Lady Fae?" Zyphan said with a chuckle, hoping his humor wouldn't get him into any trouble.
((i know we're on a roll, but it's getting quite late, and i've got to get up early tomorrow. i'll post then, but for now i've got to go sleep. cya))
