*The street was dark and nearly empty except for the occasional car that drove by. After all, it was late and most people were safe indoors with their families or already asleep. However, there seemed to be one building in town where a light was always on and one or two people were still hard at work. In the shadows outside of this building, a woman waited quietly. She didn't belong there, but with her slim, black, business suit and the class that showed in every movement, no one could tell. A black car was parked on the side of the street nearby, the driver watching this woman's every movement. He was a young man in his twenties, well built and handsome, his stone gray eyes keenly observing his mistress. However, the woman didn't pay him any attention, her own eyes focused on the door to the law firm in front of her. It was then that she finally laid eyes on the one she had been waiting for... She couldn't help but smile to herself... He was perfect. She had been stalking him for a little over a month though, although he was completely oblivious to that fact. Now there he was, leaving his office late as usual. She watching him eagerly as he walked through the front doors and toward the sidewalk. She was certain that he was the one she wanted... She had waited so long for permission to create a childe that she could hardly contain her excitement. However, she had to focus if she wanted to pull this off. She glanced at the car that was waiting for her, giving a quick nod before she started to walk down the sidewalk in front of the building, in clear view of the lawyer now. She opened her purse as she walked, pretending to search for her keys as she headed for the car... But when she looked up from her purse, that same car suddenly started up and peeled away from the building.* "Hey! That's my car! Stop!" *Pulling off a flawless act of surprise and distress, Tessa Creighton dropped her purse and ran a few feet down the sidewalk before the car disappeared around a corner. She stopped with a helpless look on her face, staring angrily at the last place the car had been as she threw her arms in the air.* "Just great!" *She looked at her watch, although she knew perfectly well what time it was and that it was too late to catch a bus. They had planned this perfectly. Giving a frustrated sigh, she dropped her arm to her side.* "Now what am I supposed to do?" *She paused a moment as if trying to figure something out, although she was in truth just waiting for the lawyer standing nearby to take the bait...*
